Island Restaurant Review: A Delicious Haven for Veggie Lovers and Burger Enthusiasts! 🌴🍔
We recently dined at Island Restaurant, and I'm thrilled to share our fantastic experience! 🌟 This hidden gem boasts an impressive menu, but what truly stole the show was their incredible vegetarian burger selection. 🤩
The Star of the Show: Hawaiian Burger with Veggie Patty 🍔
We opted for the Hawaiian Burger, swapping the traditional beef patty for a mouthwatering vegetarian alternative. The patty was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and texture. The sweetness of the pineapple, the savory flavor of the teriyaki sauce, and the crunch of the lettuce all came together in harmony. It was love at first bite! ❤️
Kids' Combo: Crispy Fried Chicken Delight 🍗
Our little ones devoured the Kids' Combo, featuring crispy fried chicken that was cooked to a golden brown perfection. The portion was generous, and the kids enjoyed every bite. 👧🏻👦🏻
Margaritas: A Refreshing Twist 🍹
The real showstopper, however, was the margaritas. We tried a few flavors, and each one was expertly crafted with a perfect balance of tanginess and sweetness. The presentation was Instagram-worthy, garnished with fresh fruits and a sprinkle of salt. Cheers to that! 🥂
Overall Experience: A Solid 5/5 ⭐️
Island Restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the food was simply divine. We can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!
Recommendations:
Try the Hawaiian Burger with the veggie patty – it's a game-changer! 🤯 Don't miss out on the margaritas – they're a refreshing twist on a classic cocktail! 🍹 Kids will love the fried chicken, and adults can appreciate the variety of flavors in the Kids' Combo.
In Conclusion...
Island Restaurant is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking delicious, creative, and satisfying meals. Their commitment to catering to diverse tastes and dietary preferences is commendable. We highly recommend adding this spot to your dining...
Read moreI absolutely love this place. I have been going here since I was a teenager and now love coming with my two little boys (my dates). We sit outside and watch the cool surf videos on TV and enjoy the laid back atmosphere and incredible food. This has truly become our go to when we want to get out of the house and enjoy a great meal, some fresh air, and lovely staff. I stopped in after work recently with about 30 minutes to spear before I had to be somewhere. I mentioned this to Jason who greeted me when I arrived, and we quickly started chatting about our children and other related things. He knew I was in a hurry and immediately took my order when I was pretty sure he was a Manager and doing this just to be accommodating. My meal and drink arrived almost immediately and I was approached several times by him and the waitress after that to check on me and see if I needed anything else. I was out of there with time to spare and so grateful for the kindness I encountered there, especially after the week I'd had. I am grateful for this little spot so close to home and appreciate every aspect of Islands from the food, the staff, the ambiance, and the yummy drinks. Thank you Islands for doing what you do so well and caring about your customers, and thank you Jason for being such a bright light in a dim week. Your kindness and willingness to go above and beyond to make my visit so pleasant was appreciated more...
Read moreI've enjoyed Islands for many years. As tasty as the menu looks and by the plates I've seen served everything looks good. Yet I've only ordered one item from their menu, The Beach Bowl. It"was" yummy!!! Of course chicken, red onion, peppers, snow peas with pineapple is always good. There's also a choice of sauces too for the dressing, teriyaki or hoisin sauce. All this is tossed with rice.... Now that's the catcher. The Beach Bowl was tossed with BROWN rice. Brown rice has a flavor and a slight crunch to it. FINDING a dish served with brown rice was the ingredient that did it for me in trying the Beach Bowl. I was hooked. My compliments to their choice of serving with brown rice. Yesterday I took a friend their for her birthday lunch and she was going to choose this dish herself from what I'd said about it. Much to my dismay the Beach Bowl is no longer made with brown rice. They've switched to white rice 😕. I was saddened but ordered it anyway. To sum it up the bowl itself was all goof. However, I'm not giving a rating bcz my disappointed would not give a good rating yet, it most be noted their service was good, the staff were polite, the place was clean holds up to their good standards. But simply because with white rice, not Brown which was the true supporting flavor of The Beach Bowl, my rating would be more directed to this - the Beach Bowl is simply just bland - bland - bland. VERY...
