Imma leave the food for last. The atmosphere is great, it's clean and fine to be in. These over privileged pompous duchesses in the reviews need to get over themselves.
The service is about as much as you'd expect from a panda express that isn't in the ghetto. It does suck sometimes when you stand over at the online pick up line and when there's no one in line, they kinda just ignore you for a few minutes if there's an order that needs to be made. Kinda sucks but kinda understandable.
The food. Ok, the food is more often than not, really good here. But, if there's a bunch of white kids behind the counter, the food is gonna suck. Every time there's Asian cooks, the food is good. But I just ordered during Lunar new year, and it was only white people behind the counter. The chicken was burnt. The rice was undercooked and bland, no seasoning at all. The peas were completely raw as well as the carrots. It's really hard to mess up orange chicken. Trust me, it's easy to make. Especially when it's mostly pre made ingredients that they're just heating up. While I was standing in line, there was another white kid boasting about how "panda express is the easiest cooking job". And yet, he still screwed it up!
Overall, don't expect good food if white people are working. But it's a fine place to eat at. Cheap too if you...
ย ย ย Read moreSanitation is the main concern with this restaurant. The teenager ringing up switched between handling money and making food, wearing the same blue gloves. Another employee handling food, didn't wear any gloves at all. The food was good, but the broccoli wasn't cooked enough. I ordered orange chicken, chow mein, and rice in the "bigger plate." The portions were large, and typical of Panda's bigger plate. The restaurant was clean and I like that they have an outdoor area to eat. It would be nice or if it was covered for the tables had umbrellas because it's a bit too hot to sit in the afternoon with the sun blaring on you. The service was fast, but a bit robotic. The staff was a bit cold and rushed. The cashier didn't say, "thank you," as is typical. Instead of reading my order back as the, "bigger plate," he read it back as, 1/2 chow mein, 1/2 rice, and three orange chickens. I said, "yes, the bigger plate." The young man responded that there was no charge for the plates and forks as he handed the bag to me. The parking lot was pretty crowded, but it was easy to find a space and it was free. Overall I...
ย ย ย Read moreI think that the main reason I had such a great experience at this Panda Express location is due to the staff, in particular one specific staff member, Josh. He provided excellent customer service at a timely pace despite the large volume of customers he had to attend to. His second scoop was a bit light, and in order to make up for that, he added a half other scoop, as anyone else would. When he did this expected and appropriate action, someone else on the staff, either a manager or fellow staff member, repeatedly embarrassed him in front of everyone saying โ2 scoops joshโ multiple times. Although it seems like an innocent statement, her tone was hostile and an obvious attempt to belittle and make him appear to lack the skills necessary for his position, which couldnโt be farther from the case. I hope Josh is working every time that I visit this location and this his fellow staff member isnโt so quick to make judgements, especially when sheโs halfway across the kitchen and cannot see whatโs happening. She is the reason this is a 4 star and not 5...
