The service here was excellent. Super friendly and checked on us just often enough. They have a HUGE menu so there's something for everyone. I didn't explore the drink menu too closely but there were lots of options there as well it seemed. They have a separate breakfast/brunch menu that runs until 2.
They are SUPER dog friendly. They brought a water bowl for our dogs, and even threw in a couple of bacon strips for them which was really nice. They have quite a big patio. Unfortunately the patio is also one of the reasons they only get 4 stars: they have these big fancy umbrellas and apparently all of them are broken! Most of the patio had no shade so we burned to a crisp lol. They told us people break them by trying to set them up themselves. They need to replace them with some standard umbrellas or something.
The food is solidly 4 stars. It's your standard pub grub, at least the stuff we got. The type of food that's greasy and satisfying but doesn't stand out in any way. I think if they halved their menu options they could make their remaining food a little more fancy and therefore worthy of 5 stars. As it stands I could see coming back for the patio (with working umbrellas) but not specifically for the food. I will say this: they have great portion sizes. We got a full extra meal for 2 from our leftover tots and wings.
All in all, I could see coming here (in the evening, or with working umbrellas) to have a chill drink on the patio with my dogs and some friends. It's definitely set up to be a social restaurant where you hang out. They just need to fix...
Read moreSo my wife and I came for dinner. We ordered a Cali burger and a hangover burger both with sweet potato fries, mac n cheese, and I got a sour and a Margherita. Sour tasted watery. Margherita tasted like sanitizer, think green soap from a tattoo shop. "Mac" n cheese was penne with a cheese sauce that tasted like kraft mixed with Velveeta for $10. My wife's Cali burger was missing the mushrooms and my burger came out raw with undercooked bacon. Sent it back. It came back out cooked properly but they sent it out with tater tots instead of the sweet potato fries. Even worse once we were actually eating we found everything to have no salt/ seasoning at all, not the burgers, fries or even the mistake tots. The waitress was not very friendly either and never smiled once or even offered water. We live a block away and were excited to see this place finally open. I'm working a lot at my own restaurant job and today was my only chance to go out for my birthday this weekend so i was looking forward to it; but after spending $101 on that bad of a meal we're nothing but disappointed. I know it's opening week, but that's why I purposely ordered the easiest things to make and serve and even...
