RomBomb Burger — Restaurant in San Diego

Sorry no photos of the food but I'll share one of the pop-up operation, we got ours to go and didn't want to do any injustice to the beauty of the burgers, but holy moly. Been waiting to try these burgers for a long time and they are excellent. Will seek them out actively haha. Got a few regular burgers and the collab burger, all great but the spicy mayo / sauce on the collab was seriously incredible (I ordered for for 2 people, but I could have had it all to myself and been very full but very happy). Highly recommend trying their burgs if you get the chance (they get busy really quickly and were for sure going to sell out of burgers within the next hour, I got there a little after 4pm). They were at burgeon oasis in Escondido. Really nice guys, 2 man operation and clearly a lot of die hard fans haha. Thanks for the great meal! I was exploring through Google maps when I found this hidden place called RomBomb burgers. I find it odd that this place is not actually a restaurant, and that I will have to order a few days ahead just to pick it up, but the overwhelming 5 star reviews propelled me to place my first order.

Picked up the burger and tots that Wednesday and parked my car. Took one bite from the burger and I immediately found out that I am eating a masterpiece. The first bite hits you like a bomb! An explosion of flavors from the crispy patty to the juicy soft carnalized onions. The burger sauce is amazing in holding the flavors together. I was so impressed by this burger, I had to buy the burger sauce right after eating it.

There is something kind of special about the ordering and pick up process that makes you feel like a special "insider" and that's before you even sink your teeth into one of their burgers.

But when you do, I am here to tell you that you're in for a major treat! Don't forget a side of crispy and perfectly seasoned tots for the dipping sauce alone! So good you'll wish you had more tots (and sauce).

Order pickup is fairly straightforward and quick. You pull up in your car, send them a note letting them know you're there and shortly after a very friendly person will bring it out to your car.
