KFC — Restaurant in San Diego

This KFC is a restaurant within a restaurant and has merged with Taco Bell. Although I am a "health food addict," I have no qualms about occasionally treating myself to a fast food treat. This KFC/Taco Bell is located on Linda Vista Road about a quarter mile from Ulric St. You can order a few different small chicken baskets or several kinds of KFC chicken buckets; each includes dark meat chicken, usually backs and legs. If you want white meat, you must request it as a "special order" and it costs a little more money. Taco Bell has myriad different options when it comes to ordering their food and you can make you choices when you go through their drive-through area. They have plenty of different types of soft drinks, juices and iced smoothies. I don't know whether you can eat inside of the COVID-19 PANDEMIC rules still apply; as of today, I still believe that you have to order and pickup your food. I think that other restaurants now allow inside dining however, hand washing stations are provided for you and you must still wear a mask and practice...

A good experience and tasty food! 🐔

I walked in rather than doing drive in since I knew I was going to be making a large order: I am not familiar with the menu options & I wanted to put the food in the back of my Cherokee. Walk in allows me to take my time to scan the menu and make my choices without making other customers wait on me.

Everything went very well once I decided exactly what to order. Ordering was fast and easy*; the order was available very quickly; and the chicken, bisquits; coleslaw; mashed potatoes & gravy; and potato wedges are were delicious.

I would have liked to pay using my phone (Google Pay) but I didn't see that as an option at the pay terminal. I think it would be a good idea if the company updated their terminals to allow NFC phone payments, but maybe that is an expense the company can't...

Terrible service!! Several things were wrong! My and my family waiting 15 minutes before they even made our food because they forgot. Four people behind me already got there’s, so I knew something was wrong. No apologies from the Manager or workers. They were too busy speaking Spanish amongst themselves and was looking at me the whole time!! Didn’t even ask if I needed something! They even made a mistake with my order and made it to go when we were dining in. I understand that people make mistakes. I get it.
