My worst Leucadia Pizza experience to date. I've been a customer of Leucadia Pizza for a few years and have only ever gone to the UTC location. I've recently moved so we decided to try the Point Loma location. We ordered our regular, Large Ricotta, Spinach & Eggplant, to go. Once we got home and opened the box it looks more like we ordered a cheese pizza and a few veggie scraps happened to fall on. Completely empty of any vegetables. The UTC location would always cover the entire pizza in veggies. So we were very disappointed by our pizza. I will say, the half salad we order was good, and came with a lot of salad for being considered a "half'. But the pizza was bad. I will drive the extra 5 miles to go to the UTC location from now.

I got a calzone. It tasted extremely "bought-in-bulk" from costco toppings. It was pizza, probably a little better than pizza hut or domino's. Dough seemed to be made in store and was good. Wife got dairy-free gluten-free, and it was weeeeelllll below average and frankly seemed like they had it to say they had it. Nobody who likes pizza wants the DF/GF pizza, trust me.

Great pizza! The Hawaiian is sweet but not too sweet and the pepperoni is right on the spot for tasty. Our order taker was clever too and put our order in after me and my girl had spoken to each other about it. overall a great experience and fair priced pizza.

This store doesn’t know what goes on their pizzas. I’ve ordered the buffalo chicken pizza twice now. The first time, I got what you might expect from a buffalo chicken pizza - a Buffalo chicken pizza with buffalo sauce as the base. I mention this because this fact is seemingly one that can be interpreted differently depending on the employee you talk to or the employee that makes the pizza. Their website and menu say that buffalo sauce, NOT MARINARA SAUCE, sits below the mozzarella layer on the pizza. The pizza, as it was originally made and intended, was delicious. In fact, it was good enough that I decided to order again four days later.

Unfortunately, when I decided to play the pizza roulette game, I lost and was unlucky enough to have my pizza made by someone that doesn’t know what they’re doing. They made it with a marinara sauce base, which doesn’t really go with the blue cheese, ranch, and chicken. I called the store to see if they would correct the issue - the pizza tasted weird and I wanted the pizza with buffalo sauce; however, the manager assured me that the pizza was made correctly. It felt like they wanted to avoid fixing a mistake.

I decided to call again about 20 minutes later. A different person answered the phone. I didn’t mention my previous experience at all - I simply asked them what the base sauce was supposed to be. The person answered that it comes with buffalo sauce… I didn’t have the energy to pursue anything further about my incorrect order.

Skip forward two weeks.. I’m craving some buffalo pizza, so I consider giving this place another chance. I’m about to put in my online order and realize I should probably call and make sure there’s no confusion on how my pizza would be made. I asked the person that picked up and they told me they had to check with someone. They came back a few moments later and said that the buffalo pizza should have marinara as the base. When I questioned their information and mentioned their website and menu, they informed me that it does indeed have marinara. I explained what had happened the previous two times I ordered and was then told that the first time my pizza was made, it was a made with a buffalo sauce base by mistake.

All of this confusion between the employees and their menu, along with the fact that they refused to fess up to their mistake has me not planning on coming back.

If you like gambling, feel free to place an order. Who knows what pizza you might get, regardless of what...

I've been going to Leucadia Pizza for over twenty years. After ordering three cheese pizzas three separate times, it is now safe to say that this is the worst Leucadia Pizza location I've ever been to.

Over cheesed and soaked in grease, completely inedible. A monkey could roll out dough better than this. Idk if it's because it's basically a bunch of high school and college kids working this shop, but this location is giving Leucadia a bad name.

I don't understand how I could order a cheese pizza three separate times, and end up with the same piss poor attempt each time. Absolute laziness on the dough work. More than 2 inch thick cornicione caused the middle to have zero dough. Then they pile on so much cheese the grease soaks through the whole damn thing. The entire bottom of the pizza box was absolutely soaked through. I could probably wring out the cardboard and use the grease to fry my eggs this morning- that's how bad the situation has become at the Point Loma Leucadia Pizza.

Leucadia corporate needs to retrain these guys. I should've taken photos of my last order, but that pizza was destined to go straight...
