I am absolutely appalled at my experience here. We were greeted with a disgusted bartender in a red cap - younger woman with brown hair. She looked at us without saying anything and just waited for us to order (it was still slow). We ordered our drinks and she demanded our IDs. No issue. We just moved from out of state two weeks ago. She immediately left with my ID to the bar next door. She came back a few minutes later and stated I had an obvious fake ID. Im 28, I’m IDd occasionally and don’t have any issues with it but I’ve never had this happen. They couldn’t explain why they actually thought it was fake. They attempted to retain my ID unless I presented my passport. My passport?! I told them I’d be calling the cops for theft if they didn’t return my ID. I’d much rather have the cops confirm the validity of my license than some angry college bartender and a dude with a black light. Immediately they returned my card and said I was being rude and loud (because I demanded my license back?!)

The security guy came next door from the same place we came from earlier where we had a few beers and played shuffle board before our dinner reservation across the street. They didn’t have an issue before but now suddenly did because of this clearly inexperienced bartender.

Disgusted with the treatment we received. I welcome the owner/manager to reach out to confirm this. I’ll happily return with my same ID and additional identification or to simply meet an officer to scan and confirm the validity. Do better, be better. If you don’t like what you do, find a new job - she clearly hated having to be there.

Respond with a solution and...

2/5 - Insanely inconsistent, questionable staff.

I've been here 12-15 times, and it's very tough to gauge what you're going to get. 4 or 5 of those times, I've ordered the same thing off the menu, and what I got each time was VASTLY different. The first time I ordered it, it was incredible, hence ordering it again, however the next few times it was completely different every time. Could just be a turnover in kitchen staff, but either way, my family and I were not happy. Often times if we order to-go, things are left out of the order. Sure, had I called and let them know, I am sure they would have given me the items I paid for, but I was already home and wanted to eat. Just get it right the first time.

I've spoken to one of the owners while sitting at the bar, who seemed very nice and welcoming. Another visit, I heard a different employee (assuming also an owner, was behind the bar but not doing anything) using homophobic slurs, right in front of all of the patrons. There is also a short, blonde bartender who has been very rude two of the times I've been there to have a beer while I wait for take-out for my family. Other than those two, the staff has been relatively great.

They do have a pretty great whiskey selection, which is why they're getting two stars instead of one. They have potential, and I hope they get it together. But please focus on consistency with your food, and customer service skills...

Look I knowwww it was a busy ass day (St Patrick’s Day) so I have to have grace with everyone working yesterday. However, my experience has compelled me to write my first ever bad review !!

I’ve worked in the service industry so I know how stressful really busy nights can be. But last night I ordered food and about an hour later when it still wasn’t out I politely inquired and was told “oh we’re out of food” like I should have somehow known? I remained really calm and friendly and asked that I just receive a refund (I had previously closed out) to which I was told hey we’re really busy we can give you a gift card or 10$ cash (I had spent more than that and received nothing). I just wanted a refund and I was treated like I was being completely unreasonable for just wanting a refund on something I didn’t receive. When they finally voided my check I had the void receipt balled up and thrown at me which seemed really over the top and agro.

I understand busy nights, I understand things getting 86’d on busy nights, I don’t understand why they’d be so aggressive to somebody who was very calm and friendly towards them and asking for something that should have...

We came here for lunch as a large party of 13. We had originally tried to go to another restaurant down the street but they couldn’t accommodate our group. I’m glad we came here! First of all, great name! 😉 Second of all, the staff and servers were all very kind and welcoming to us. The prices are very reasonable! The servings are very large. And most importantly, the food is very good. I ordered a small ceasar salad and it is very big. My friend ordered the large and we could’ve split it. Everyone liked their food. Some ordered the Philly steak sandwich, some ordered burgers. We all shared the French fries. There was plenty to go around. Before leaving I asked the bartender if I’d get a free drink since my last name is “Story”. He would’ve given me one, but we were heading back to play tennis in the national championships. So he gave me a free T-shirt instead! How cool is that? It’s very soft and I love wearing it.

Amazing establishment with lots of really good food. I used to go to former restaurant and now I am so happy to walk on in to a bunch of friendly folk and feel like I'm at home. I can tell that they have put so much into this to new pub called "Long Story, Irish pub. The chicken wings are fantastic and they have many different options; sausage, Irish egg rolls, fry bowl and then you got your soups: Irish stew, grain bowl, tomato bisque and for all of you that are into salads they have House salad and Caesar. So happy they're here welcome them to our new neighborhood. We've lost a lot of our restaurants and I'm so glad that these guys have started their restaurant and let's support them like we used to support all of our local restaurants.

It was my day off so I decided to celebrate, let loose and get their delicious LS Philly Cheese-Steak Sandwich (thin sliced house steak, onions, peppers, cheddar on a fresh Amorosa roll straight from Philly), an AleSmith 394 pale ale, their signature ‘Irish Goodbye’ (Proper 12 Irish Whiskey, Bailey's, Guinness) and then a full Guinness from their legit nitro Guinness tap. What a great meal, friendly conversation and all around fun time! I love that place. #LunchOfChampions
