The owner is so kind. Today when it was very hot he was giving soda and water out to everyone who came in free!!! I love it here! The chicken kabob lunch special is my favorite. Nowhere in San Diego can you get anything like this..... it's actually filled a LOT of chicken and very unusual for specials... is that if you ask to substitute side dishes you can! Eg I don't want French fries and I often ask for double salad. Prices are fantastic!!!! I still would like to have the lamb shank. Every friend I have suggested this place to has loved it. The chicken Shwarma sandwich is not the same as the kabob. I strongly prefer kabob. Shwarma is good but it is cut up in much smaller pieces . I have been going here for many years and I'm very glad that they survived during covid. Decor is not fancy but the foods delicious! People were so grateful to the owner today sooo hot inside! He gladly put on fans ..told us it won't help much but grab a drink. If it's very hot perhaps go Inside and order to go. Parking can be a bit tricky but you WILL find it and it's a lovely area so no need to worry at night! I like homade baklava too. Absolutely best prices..Best owner and...

Sunday, June 21st of 2015, 8:07pm.

I walk in, and immediately get asked to have a seat anywhere. I pick the center table. The server takes care of me right away, asking me for my beverage of choice from a drink menu, I decline, and she gives me the menu to order. I order an appetizer of tabuli and the chicken kabob. The server told me it's going to be a lot of food, and recommended that instead of a salad for my entre that i go with a tabuli salad. I comply, and wait patiently for my meal.

The meal arrives, and at first I was expecting a huge 12x12 plate overflowing with Mediterranean goodness. Instead i got a beautiful 12x6 plate full in the middle. A great serving of rice on the left, freshly made pita (it was bomb diggity) filled the top center to the top right corner, at the bottom right you have this perfect size of tabuli (with all its freshness and goodness), and finally a perfectly grilled, chard, and thick chicken kabob that filled the entire stick stretching from one end of the plate to the other (not 12 inches) on top of the goodness.

I recommend this great restaurant! Try it, love it, return, and spread...

Super rude and racist staff at the front desk. She made remarks on our origin and living style. Never going back or recommending to anyone!

The restaurant was completely empty on a Sunday afternoon lunch when we walked in. We thought to give it a try. The falafel pita wrap was tasteless and lacked sauce, taste and basically super dry. Our kids spilled some rice on the floor. She came to us and said “Oh, people from San Jose are like this! We Mexicans are very clean.” We replied that a little mess with kids is pretty normal anywhere (bcz it was just some rice!) She said “I have two kids and two grand kids and they never made mess. I just wanted to know where you guys are from so that I know!!”

I don’t think she belongs in the customer facing or table serving/cleaning role. Saying this to anyone is very hurtful and only describes what who...

Mediocre service on a Friday lunch from lone, bumbling, harried waitress who is too busy with takeout orders to care about the seated diners. All of our 3 orders were wrong. The cucumber chunks were brownish, soggy and bland. Chicken kabobs had good flavor but dry texture. The falafel and gyros were just OK, although the beef kebabs were pretty good: juicy & flavorful. Also, nice tzatziki sauce and garlic sauce, but they're served in tiny, disposable portioned cups, and it took forever to get more. Fries and rice: average. Portions: average; Presentation: yep, average! Everything was mostly uninspired and dull. Even the drinking water tasted strange; like it had once been glasses full of ice that were left to melt - very weird. For those prices, much better Greek/Med food & service is offered elsewhere.

We tried to come here today for a healthy Mother's Day dinner. It was around 5 or 6 and the Google restaurant times said it was open. We called and there was no message or greeting. We were close by so we went over and it was closed. It would be great to have accurate times on the website and/or a note on the door. I hope everything is ok. Update: we went back and it was open. The place had a very strong Fabuloso cleaner smell. It's great that it's clean, I just wish they used something with less chemicals because it's off putting when you try to eat. The layout and eating was odd. You have to walk to the front to order and then sit down. It's not really clear when you enter. The food was hot. The bathroom was clean. Could it make more of an effort? Probably. The outside could use a make over.

Some of the best Mediterranean food i've ever had! Travelled all over and its hard to find places that nail the flavor with the family love and touch that a good Mediterranean restaurant needs to be perfected. Grab one of the greek beers while you wait and make sure to have a chat with the owner. Amazingly nice folks and such good food. 10/10 i will be a repeat customer for a long time now! 🌟
