The food was good and the place is always clean, but I was very annoyed by a few things. I always order the kids' meal ( never a problem, light eater). It's a Jr. Entree, Jr. Side, a cookie and a 12 oz drink. Which is still what it states on the menu board. After they made the mushroom chicken fresh I was told I could no longer get an iced tea or soda with the meal, only a 16.9 oz bottle of water!
Now, a few things. I get there was something passed about kids' meals and sugary soda. But I am an adult and I drink so much water it's ridiculous. My budget is so tight that this $6 purchase was a major treat. I hardly think an unsweetened China tea was going to hurt the kids or me! And it was 25% of the purchase I didn't receive. A logical exception could have been made. The menu said 12 oz drink. Not a 16.9 oz bottle of water.
The server got very snippy and condescending and said "fine, I'll cancel the order". She obviously had a bias against homeless, though I was dressed nicely, clean and polite. I took my receipt and called the survey line as soon as I sat down.
What a joke!!! They asked 3 questions: Was I happy with my visit? I answered 1 up from the lowest star, expecting a follow up question. Would I come back? Said probably would. Would I recommend them to friends? Said unlikely.
And that was the end of the survey!!! No... WHY? No.... WHAT COULD BE HAVE DONE BETTER? No.... SO SORRY?
Don't purport to give a damn about your customer's opinions if you aren't prepared to step up and folliw through. Next time I'll skip Panda and go to Pick...

I picked up an order and when I followed directions and asked for the order by name she insisted I provide a phone number AFTER she looked at me up and down. The person before be simply gave a name and picked up their order. When I told her I didn't have the number because the online site simply said 'go to the counter and tell them order for _' she rudely said I needed to provide a number because it's company policy. I have gone back 3 more times and was never asked for a number, I simply gave a name. Today I went in and asked for my order by name and was given my order. When I saw Gisselle was there I told her that her stating of the company policy was incorrect because I had verified it she seemed surprised. She immediately reprimanded the employee that gave me my order for not asking for a phone number. She did so in front of other customers. She proceeded to yell at me as I was walking out and told me not to tell her how to do her job. Every other Panda Express simply asks for a name. Gisselle decides on who to ask for what information based on how a customer looks. My husband went in wearing a suit and Gisselle gave him his order after he simply provided a name. Read moreI haven’t experienced a more unprofessional staff in several years. I ordered through Uber because of the quarantine. I know the food being cold wasn’t their fault and so no blame to them for that. I also recognize that the quarantine has probably got them backed up to their eyeballs and working overtime. However if you’re going to take the time to check off the receipt, as was done, to verify everything is present actually MAKE SURE everything is there. Then when you are called do not treat the customer like they are behaving unjustly. I paid 40 dollars for 2 two entree plates, two root beers, and four egg rolls. I got 1 two entree plate, 1 one entree, 2 watered down root beers, and two egg rolls. Yet everything on the receipt was checked off as being present.
When I called it seemed fine. When I showed up with the receipt and the plate missing it’s entree not only was I greeted with attitude as though I was lying to get something for free I was given the smallest serving of what I had originally ordered.
Humans make mistakes, in these times I anticipate mistakes, however YOU chose to try and circumvent those mistakes and still did so poorly and then YOU chose to treat me the customer as though I had done something wrong.
I will not be returning to this particular store front and can only hope those that follow receive better...
