Being in the area late on a Saturday night, my party was looking for somewhere to get a quick bite that wasn't the usual fast food or mundane dine-in choices such as Denny's or IHOP. Park Social was only 5 minutes away, the menu looked inviting and they were open past 10 so we wouldn't feel rushed since it was already close to 9:30. After Maps directed us the wrong way on a one-way street, we finally arrived. After scanning the menu board and asking some questions about the flexibility of the food preparation, we ordered and found a nearby table. Scanning the premises, I noticed the numerous self pour beer taps (similar to Barrell Republic), several arcade style video games, and TVs silently displaying ESPN and other sports channels. Our side salads were ready in a few minutes and we both enjoyed the delicious feta vinaigrette dressing. Our entrees came out soon thereafter and I was impressed with the size of the burger and most of the quantity and quality of accompanying garnishes, except why do they put chopped lettuce on a burger? In any case, the 3 fish tacos were filling for my spouse and the 1/2 pound burger was delicious despite the chopped lettuce. Our complaints were few: 1) It seemed as cold inside the dining area as outside to the point we had put on our jackets while eating and 2) Due to all of the hard surfaces inside, when a group of six was gathered around a nearby video game, it was impossible to carry on a conversation without straining. Perhaps we should have been texting each other? Once they moved on it was fine, but I can imagine how loud it must be when it is crowded inside. Overall, we left satisfied and will consider Park Social the next time we are...

This place has become my favorite restaurant in San Diego so far, considering all factors. We stayed at a nearby Airbnb for a few days, surrounded by upscale new apartments, and this place truly elevated our living experience during the short stay. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus great coffee, craft beers, and even live performances. The outdoor seating area, with its park-like setting, feels relaxing and chill, yet casual enough to take food to-go or just hang out.

Every dish I tried was amazing, the salads are fresh, and the main dishes are satisfying for a full day’s meals. It’s rare to find a place so versatile. Their coffee selection is excellent and authentic, and the desserts are delicious. You could easily spend an entire day here—it’s like having a stylish community canteen if you don’t mind the price.

The vibe is lively yet cozy, perfect for both hanging out and working. Wi-Fi is decent, and the noise level is acceptable. During my stay, I went there almost every day. The staff is warm and welcoming, the décor is modern and chill, and the whole place feels very inviting for young people and anyone looking for a great...

Came to Park Social today after work to check out their happy hour.

The location is gorgeous and bar/restaurant/coffee shop has a fantastic ambiance. Though we mostly came to Park Social for drinks and a quick nosh, they appeared to have a little something for anyone and everyone.

I had the happy hour house Rose. A more than serviceable wine that was nicely chilled and not overly sweet. For $5 I felt it was a good buy. Beers are $6 during happy hour as well. We also tried the loaded tots and the cheese flatbread. The tots were an excellent texture, and the toppings were nice, even if the flavors weren't necessarily revolutionary. I personally preferred the cheese flatbread, which appeared to be a plentiful mix of mozzarella and parmesan, and had a nice balance with the bright sauce and nicely toasted crust.

Best part of the visit was just chilling out in the snow outdoor sitting space. This is a great location to drink, chat and hang out for hours on end.

Quick tip, Park Social does have some dedicated parking right out front by the main entrance. Keep an eye out for the signage on the right once you pull onto the...

This is a surprising and somewhat unknown spot in a condo neighborhood within a fairly commercial area. If you don’t look for it or already know it’s here then you don’t know. The vibe is relaxed from the cashier to the spacious seating and decor. The lunch menu has a decent array goodies. I got the birria street tacos which were loaded with meat and flavor. My friend got the birria quesadilla which packed the same awesome flavor and good amount of meat. The only negative was the coconut nitro cold brew which just tasted off even when mixed. In turn, the positive about it was staff replaced it free of charge since we barely tasted it and didn’t like it. I got an iced cappuccino with vanilla and oat milk, which was wonderful. We will definitely return for a later lunch and post-work drinks.
