I sent an email regarding selling a couple purses. It did take them a few days to get an email back to me but in the meantime I sent a text and spoke with Angela. She was responsive and actually called me before I came out there the same day to inform me that they're handbag authentication company was on the east coast and was closing in 30 min. So she suggested I come in the following day in the morning. Which I did. I was very upfront describing my purse. I texted pictures and was offered a range up to $450. Then, i sent her over a full complete description on any defects I was aware of or that I noticed on the bag. Then the quote was dropped from $450 to $400. Then when I brought the bag in, they informed me that it was a $25 deposit for the authentication. I wasn't told that previously. I wasn't prepared to pay that when I arrived there. I left my bag to wait for the verification to be completed (30 min to 1 hour) and within 5 minutes of leaving, I recieved a call saying my bag was in worse shape than I described and that they couldnt pay the $400 I was quoted. I described my bag exactly as it was. The quote was now $300 for a handbag that I previously had evaluated when purchased and the estimates value was $1200-$1500. At this point, I had just driven 25 minutes, I had to pay someone to take me there since I recently had eye surgery and don't drive yet, and pretty much I was just over it. I took the $300 and sold the bag. It was just disappointing knowing how low the offer ended up being. Plus I showed them the receipt which showed what I paid for it and I'm sure that didn't help me get anymore money. They had never seen this bag before and said initially they didn't think it was authentic because of certain aspects of the bag. However, it was authentic, it was authenticated by the company I purchased it from and it was vintage 2008 which they did learn after authentication. Overall, I appreciated getting something offered for the bag. However, I wish I had been told that you pay for authentication up front. $25. Also, if I send you actual photos, full description of any issues, and am upfront about it, I feel like they should be reasonable when deducting anything they see as another Flaw. I'm sure they will clean it up repair anything that needs to be and sell it for a decent amount. Overall, it was a bit disappointing of an experience but they did make an offer, and they were pleasant to deal with. Could have just been a difference of opinion on what we...

Nothing about this establishment says, pawn shop. I was referred to this location when, and if, I was interested in selling any of my 1oz gold coins or intrigued to obtaining some new ones. Upon entering and soaking it in, I felt as if I was inside a upscale boutique (Chanel) inside Nordstrom at South Coast Plaza mall. Made me scratch my head and check that I was in the right store. 🤔
Fine jewelry, high end watches (ie: Chopard), unique diamond pieces, rare collectables and the back wall dripping from top to bottom in high end designer handbags and men's wallets from LV. In addition, Posh Pawn utilizes a handheld device developed by Entrupy, Inc. that microscopically detects the convincing fakes out there, from the 100% authentic. Very cool!
Overall, beautiful merchandise in nearly mint condition! LV messenger bag with proof of purchase, as if the owner didn't even use it after spending close to $3k! 😮
Btw... April, Thomas, Kermit the Frog and the Habib guy... Don't know what they're on, but they need to know that drugs are bad! If they weren't on them, they would see more clearly!
Paola (I think that was her name) effortlessly oozes professionalism and class.
I will make another visit after leaving NYC for the holidays. San Diego is lucky to have them (Pugsie would agree)....
Read moreI have to start by saying this was one of the nicest pawn shops I've been in. It's clean, bright and real nicely laid out. I was instantly greeted when I walked in which is always a nice thing to be noticed when you come into an establishment. Angela was extremely nice, helpful and informative with my loan as well as selling some of my gold. She made me feel very comfortable with my transaction not once did I question what she was doing because everything was executed in front of me in a very professional way. She asked how much I was looking to get and I told her and she actually was able to get me a bit more. Not once did I feel she pressured me to take more, I felt she was really trying to help me get the funds needed to cover the bill I had to pay. I highly Highly recommend them to go to and do your transactions with when needing a loan or to sell your gold , silver or gems because they keep it professionally truthful and real. And you have to respect that. Give them a try, I bet you'll be pleased...
