Pop’s Pizza is hands down the best pizza in San Diego, and no bad review can change that! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure you have a great dining experience. The pizza here is phenomenal—perfectly crispy crust, rich and savory sauce, and generous toppings that are always fresh. I tried their signature pepperoni pizza, and it was out of this world! The cheese was perfectly melted, and the flavor was simply unbeatable. But it’s not just the pizza that makes Pop’s Pizza special. Their salads are crisp and refreshing, their pastas are flavorful and hearty, and their subs are to die for. Every item on the menu is crafted with care and attention to detail. I’ve seen some negative reviews floating around, but my experience couldn’t be further from those. I honestly believe those reviews don’t do justice to the amazing quality and service that Pop’s Pizza provides. This place has quickly become my go-to spot for pizza, and I can't recommend it enough. If you’re in San Diego and craving pizza, do yourself a favor and visit Pop’s Pizza. You won’t be...

First time trying Pop’s Pizza, and I must say, it was amazing! I noticed a negative review about the antipasto salad being old and wilted, the pizza not being good, and salty cheese breadsticks. They also mentioned bad customer service. However, my experience was completely the opposite, and I believe that negative review might not be from a real account.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff. The customer service was excellent, and everyone was friendly and attentive. The antipasto salad I ordered was fresh and full of flavor. The pizza was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked with a crispy crust, rich sauce, and generous toppings. The cheese breadsticks were a hit, not salty at all, and well worth the money.
It's clear that Pop’s Pizza cares about their food quality and customer experience. This new location is a fantastic addition to the area, and I highly recommend giving it a try. Don't let one questionable review deter you from enjoying what could be your new...
Read moreSo I've seen this shop change over the years, but have not gone in such a long time since moving back to San Diego. Well I am so greatly surprised that Pop's Pizza does not disappoint when it comes to food. Prices are decent, shop is cozy not big, food is amazing. I started off by getting a 20" meatlover Calzone. The Calzone was not over greasy which is a plus, each inch of the inside was filled with toppings. Even after a day in the fridge it was still tasty, love cold calzone the next day. The other option was the Philly cheesesteak. Now this was juicy and tender. There was also no skimping on the ingredients either. The bread was tosted perfectly, crispy outside and soft on the inside. You could smell the aroma coming from the bag. Each bite had meat and cheese in it, up to the last bite and no wasted bun like some places. Definitely would recommend Pop's for some good food. Next time I go on I've got to order a slice and try the pasta so for now this is part 1 stay tuned for part 2....
