Ridgewalk Social — Restaurant in San Diego

Let me just start off by saying wow!

This no-frills spot hands down has some of the best wings in SD. Being a local I can comfortably say that Ridgewalk Social should be the go-to spot for American-style buffalo wings.

The wings have the perfect crunch and tender texture. Fried to perfection and sauced to the perfect ratio, you absolutely can't go wrong with the buffalo wings here.

Their fries are another highlight. As someone who personally loves a simple fry, I can say these give off prime fry texture and taste. Similar to the fries at my local Epic Wings spot which are some of my favorite types of fries. These fries don't play and are seasoned to perfection.

I'd say the downfall to this place is definitely the location as it's not in the most accessible part of SD being on the UCSD campus. The spot itself is a nice place but not anything I'd say to write home about. But if all you're looking for in a restaurant is a nice place to sit and eat then this is perfect.

The workers are also very kind and respectful. Shoutout to y'all for the great place and the food!

In all, I would say this is definitely a great spot and a hidden gem not only to the UCSD campus but to the city...

A friend and I just came here today and we were blown away by the impeccable service and high-quality food. The burger was juicy, fries were tender, and wings were flavorful. We're not salad fans but we couldn't stop going back to the brussel caesar salad. The pita bread was also the star of the show. It was delicious with and without the dip. The burger, with its buttered buns, reminded us of a healthy in-n-out; we would recommend it to anyone who's craving one and is a great alternative (i.e. step up) from dining hall burgers. Randomly found this place enroute to Torrey Pines from Mission Beach. Had the double burger with the great sub salad. The burger was freshly made with great flavor. The salad had cheese crumbles, apples slices, and cranberries. It all went well with a draft wheat beer. About $45 for two burgers, sides, and two draft beers.
