Super cute place that popped up the street. Not sure what was here before but they are the same owners from the taco truck that used to be at the VFW down the street. The burritos we got were good but included jalapeños which isn’t traditional from where I’m from but still good. It was good for the price 8 bucks. We also got a blueberry and banana liquado. It was sooo good, but just as a heads up this isn’t like a traditional American smoothie but one with less ice. Delicious!!

I have tried a lot of Mexican restaurants and food trucks. This place stands out to me because of the variety and delicious flavor. I tried a lot of the available options and it was a great experience. They had a clean area to eat in and I was extremely surprised to see a clean restroom available to the customers. The prices are fair or below. Unfortunately the cafe-style drinks were not available but I will have to try them next time. Definitely a 10/10 place!

Do you love TORTAS? How about TORTAS DE MILANESA? Well, this is about to be your new favorite spot. I am convinced this place has the best tortas in Serra Mesa, Mission Valley, etc! Their sweet bread is just as good - choose your favorite, mine is the Salvadorian quesadilla, but everyone has a favorite. So much space to also go there, hang out and eat in the place. Inside the shope there is also a spot for coffee, boba and juices. Go visit this gem 💎

San Diego Bakery randomly popped up on Yelp with one review from a few weeks ago but has pictures from a several months ago. Guess they moved or something? Idk.

Anyways, I tried some pan and it was good! I found their pan to be comparable to pan from the better panaderias in town, and much better than the Mexican markets around. I didn't grow up eating it but my girlfriend did, and she said the same. Just make sure to transfer it to a plastic bag if you're not finishing it on the same day.

That breakfast though. I've tried some bolillos (huevos con tocino and huevos a la mexicana) and a burrito (huevos a la mexicana con asada) and they were all goooood, and also very fair in pricing. The bakery/torta shop I used to go to got pricy over the years, so I'm so glad to have found this place. Although I haven't tried the tortas from San Diego Bakery yet. That's next!

The licuado was also very good! Fruit is prepped fresh in front of you, and... drumroll... It's not too sweet!! (Which is really best Asian compliment, right?) I forgot to take a pic of the licuado menu but we tried the fresa, fresa con platano, and mango, and they were all super delicious. $6 each. The licuado and coffee menu also have Korean translations too, which I found pretty cool.

Will definitely be coming back, and probably often! Oh also...

The food over here is amazing, But it's really disheartening that when inside of the bakery to pickout which sweet treat from theyre bakery side that you would like to eat, there are no prices posted and they bait you into paying for baked items without knowing the price. The girl when you walk in will tell you that they are updating the prices, but i believe they tell that to everyone. On top of that, when you go there to get baked goods they charge you a $1 surcharge, to use your debit card. Who doesn't use debit or credit in this day and age? You guys don't tell customers to prices until it's too late and you have to pay and then you charge a $1 fee to use your debit or credit card.

The foods good but thos place is a RIP OFF.

the girl at the front desk is nice i...

Excellent sweet Mexican bread. The chocolate conchas are the best around. I have bought them fresh out of the oven and they are delicious. The potato with chorizo burritos are really good. Their prices are reasonable and lower than other places. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They are coming out with new things like a coffee bar and adding to their menu (menudo!). Their place is looking better every day. They are open from very early to almost midnight every day except Monday. If you enjoy good Mexican food this is the place to come. I wish them...
