Ten seconds yunnan rice noodle — Restaurant in San Diego

Convoy Street in San Diego is known for many delightful and greatm Asian restaurants and of course Chinese food is amongst them. Yesterday we were driving around and we spotted a restaurant that we have never tried. This particular restaurant itself is not on Convoy Street but it's not far off on Engineer Rd.

So we decided to try the Restaurant Ten Second Yunnan Rice Noodle. No this is not the type of restaurant that offers dishes such as General Tso's Chicken or sweet and sweet and sour pork. Here you will get a different type of experience similar to some hot pot places. Here you will get an individual hot pot with the broth of your choice such as pork bone soup and tomato. You will receive ingredients to place in your pots such the meat of your choice, Vegetables, and other items. On the menu at the back it shows you instructions on how you proceed to put each item in the pot. The last item is the noodles which cooks quickly.

We had a fantastic experience and the staff members were friendly and answered our questions about our dishes. The soup was delicious and broth was perfectly season. I had the pork bone broth and Chuck had the tomato soup broth which was delicious. We also ordered some appetizers which were also great accompaniment to our meal.

The only drawback to this restaurant and its not thier fault is the parking. It is located in a small strip mall and parking is limited just like with so many other places on Convoy Street.

Overall this was a fantastic experience and we will return to try other menu items.

Idc what it looks like or the atmosphere its irrelevant when the food tastes so damn good!!!!! I often find the AYCE hot pot too much and too expensive and a huge ordeal to do where this was affordable, a large portion, and I got to get the flavor I wanted without having to go to an AYCE. I ordered the beef spicy soup, added everything. The ham was nice the beef chunks were so soft and buttery, the fish cake was probably the best quality flavor fish cake I've eaten before. I'm Korean and I eat a fair amount of fish cakes but this was really really flavorful and the soup was amazing. Not too much tingling just enough spice, it was boiling hot which we Koreans love! And the noodles were so springy and never got soggy! My husband got the original bone broth and that was also so good and well stewed all the way white and deep in flavor. We also ordered the fried chicken. it's like a big bowl of taiwanese fried popcorn chicken with fried basil for only like $7?! Compared to boba shop prices for a fraction of quantity. Excellent food, can't wait to go back!!!!!! Great flavor in all we had. Cannot wait to go...
