Very very good authentic Thai food from a family owned business in Kearny Mesa.
I got catering portions of Pad Thai, Pad Se Ew, fried rice and fried chicken dumplings. Spice level 4 on it all. (The spice felt like a level 5-6 but overall most everybody was good with it. My pro tip is to go low on the spice level because you can always go up with condiments, but you can never go down).
I got two trays of the noodles, one shrimp, one beef, two chicken. The beef was the winner for me, the shrimp one was slightly too fishy but still delicious. The chicken was good too.
They provided everything you needed for a catering: plates, utensils, serving as well, and a ton of sides like peanuts, limes, Thai pepper, sriracha, even soy sauce.
They were so friendly and polite, yet extremely professional.
I've been there before and had their curries which are legit my favorite. As well as their skewered meats.

Read moreThis is my second visit to this restaurant. I was sufficiently satisfied the first time, when I had a wide noodle dish, to return and try again. Since I don't eat meat, I can't comment on the carnivorous varieties but I enjoyed the noodle dish here very much. The lunch special also comes with soup, which they can provide without w/o chicken broth. One of the best things I can say so far about this restaurant is the service, which is always phenomenally friendly and relaxing. Today I diverged from my vegan diet and had the Drunken Fish on the lunch special. The quantity was very generous for a lunch special and the meal was great. I asked for no spice and it still burned my mouth but was not too hot to eat. Overall, this appears to be a good restaurant with good prices, generous portions, and...
Read moreA total disappointment with the Thai curry dish. Please do not waste your time going to this restaurant. The service was horrible and the food nasty. The waitress treated me like I was an inconvenience because she wanted to focus on the "to go orders." I ordered a Thai curry dish, and the veggies were not cooked. When I asked if the veggies could be cooked longer, I was told, "No, that's the way they're supposed to be." When I tried to explain that I was not comfortable with this raw veggie dish and wanted it cooked longer, again the cooks refused to accommodate me. I have not ever felt unwanted in restaurant, but these people did a good job of it. Now I understand now why there were no other customers in that restaurant, only me...live and learn...please do not eat at...
