I just went here recently right before watching the fantastic four movie at the AMC theaters. I was craving something sweet and savory and donut seemed like a great opportunity to satisfy that itch. The food look good. The service was great Hell, the guy even threw an extra donut for me! but the moment I put one of those donuts in my mouth, it was utter disappointment. Based off the crumb structure and the texture these taste like cake donuts. And not like good cake donuts either...like shitty sponge cake stuff.

when I think donuts, I think yeasted bread. this definitely didn’t taste yeasted. Like if you’re going to call yourself a donut shop you better specify that you’re a cake donut shop because donuts stereotypically mean yeasted bread.

it’s hard for me to even say if these donuts were a good price because I feel like I get a better value out of those store-bought hostess powdered donuts and you get like 12 of those things for like $4 dollars while I’m paying close a dollar a donut.

I saw all the good reviews and it feels like they must have been incentivized/paid reviews because these donuts are not good. They don't taste nearly as good as the fresh ones made in the fair. Its not that soft and inconsistent in shape/texture. The icings are also artificial tasting compared to other donut places, so I'm bummed I paid 6...
