Updating to 1 star, as the GM never bothered to call about my many complaints, especially the racist employees. He clearly tolerates and encourages racism. Don’t stay here. Whenever I have a late checkout, my key card typically does not work when I return to the property, causing unnecessary frustration and loss of time. Today, I messaged the front desk staff again, noting the issue and simply asking if I needed a new key card or not when returning to the property. No clear answer was given. I pressed further with my inquiry and as of ONE HOUR LATER, still had no response. This is completely unacceptable behavior by whomever is tasked with responding. I had to figure it out on my own. There are a few other flaws in the experience I received, while we are at it…. 1- the TV in my room just doesn’t work. Not only can I not watch normal television, no button on the remote ever brought me to an internet TV (which is very much expected at this point) 2- There was a Latin and/or Indian/middle eastern employee working the M Lounge on 11. 9. He never acknowledged me (honestly, fine). He did however go out of his way to accommodate a group of Indian/arab men, even getting them a bottle of wine from the bar (also, why was wine not served for the lounge happy hour?)…. When a group of black men asked him why they were not also offered a bottle of wine, he was incredibly rude and condescending to them, even saying that they “did not deserve wine”. This is UNTHINKABLE today. Your employee is incredibly racist and should be terminated immediately! 3- I was given a breakfast voucher since the lounge did not offer breakfast on the weekends. I was sat today, 11.11, and was never acknowledged. I sat down, helped myself to the buffett (per my voucher) and no one ever came to offer me coffee or juice. What is even happening with the staff at the hotel? 4- I clearly had a late checkout AND a “do not disturb” sign on my door; yes housekeeping ignored this sign and attempted to enter my room TWICE before 9am. First of all, can they even read? Second, this is not appropriate, distrusted my morning and is completely disrespectful. It is clear that this property is not managed well and impacted the stay. I assume it impacted many more guests as well. Do better.

It's hard to write this review after such nice rooms but I feel it important that future guest know certain aspects before booking. There are several nice attributes about the hotel. My basic room on the 11th floor had a really nice view of the city. The room itself was cozy, clean with an updated look. The areas within the hotel were also really clean such as the lobby, grand salon hallways, bar area and restaurant, pool and workout area. The view from the pool is also quite nice. There is plenty of parking and quite easily connected to the hotel. It's centrally located to a mall and a movie theater. Unfortunately, the charges for amenities, that are typically free, was quite surprising. I was an eye-opener to learn on our last day that Internet access cost $15 per day. In all my travels, I can't remember how many years ago it was that I paid for internet. Self parking is $36 per day! A shock that I found out the day of my arrival as my email confirmation never identified parking charges not did the Marriot reservationist inform me of such charge when I booked direct. Water is readily available in the lobby but I was surprised that a cup of coffee isn't. If you have a want of coffee in the afternoon or late night you have to wait until 6 am for the lobby Starbucks shop to open and purchase. There were other downers during my stay such as the bar closing at 10 pm on a Friday (staff said it was a slow night but I guess they don't count late check-in parties I noticed in lobby). Checked the small convenience shop for beer only to notice a half empty refrigerator with only water and Gatorade. Bottles of wine was available for purchase at around $50. Large cracks on tile at the pool area doesn't indicate the hotel's concern for safety. Coffee shop is not an actual Starbucks. They only sell Starbucks products. There are no barristas for fancy coffee drinks beyond a basic coffee and latte. Overall I would recommend looking at other hotel options if looking for similar caliber as surprises charges, no matter how trivial, is never is a good sign. If you must stay here and are looking for a quick breakfast I would highly recommend taking the 5 minute walk outside to adjacent plaza. There you will find a real Starbucks and other eatiers.

AVOID THIS PROPERTY. Recently booked a night at this property. Checked in early evening and tried to take a brief nap before I had to return to an event. Thought the bed was oddly uncomfortable, but didn't think much of it because I had a lot in my head while trying to nap. Went down for bed around midnight. Tossed and turned for about 2 hours and just gave up on the bed. Tried sleeping in the chair next to it for about an hour. Gave up on that and went down to the front desk at 3am to request some additional bedding (there was none in the closet) so that I could try to get some sleep on the concrete FLOOR. Waited 10 minutes in the lobby with the front desk guy who wasn't particularly concerned about the situation. Got my bedding from a security guy who took it from another room and saw it had actual blankets instead of the single sheet and paper-thin comforter that was used in my room. Made my floor "bed" and had one of the top-three worst night sleeps of my lifetime. When I checked out, the front desk person didn't ask anything remotely close to "how was your stay", so I shared with him how ungodly uncomfortable the beds were. His response was, "oh yeah, we're aware of the beds and have been trying to get the owners to upgrade them". That was it. So they literally KNOW that their beds are complete garbage but don't do anything before, during, or after the stay to address it. My time there was in-between a pair of very long work days and the ONLY thing I needed from this place was a good night's sleep. $300 later, I would have been better off sleeping in my car in some parking lot. Extremely disappointed in the quality of stay and staff from a Bonvoy hotel.

This was by far the worst experience we have ever received. Especially myself, we came for a family weekend and to celebrate a birthday.
We checked into room 818 on 9/24/21 we walked into a dirty room with Stained sheets. When I called the front desk to inform them of the dirty stained sheets they told me to come down stairs so they would be able to switch us rooms. At that time she also informed me of that we would have to give them a 24 hour notice if we wanted our room cleaned. I requested new sheets and bedding daily. She was supposed to put it in the notes. I’m not sure where the miscommunication happened.

The following day when we stayed in room 1429. The day of 9/25/21 At about 2pm I called downstairs to the front desk and spoke to a gentleman, I asked him if he could please send housekeeping to service our room. He told me I would have to give a 24hr notice in order To have it cleaned. I then informed him I requested it last night when I had go downstairs to get a new room and I informed him of our awful experience, from checking into a dirty room with blood stained sheets and having to switch rooms after driving 3 hours in traffic. The last thing I expected was to have stained dirty sheets and having to move rooms.. it is now 5:30pm on September 25, 2021 we returned from dinner and still our room has yet to be cleaned and serviced.

This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever endured from the Marriott company. When I called at 5:30 from returning from dinner I spoke to the front desk and asked them why the room hadn’t been serviced She said there was a DND on the door so they couldn’t come in and that they called. I notified her I spoke to someone earlier and told them we were leaving for a few hours and by the time we return I hope we can have our room cleaned. I also did not place a DND on the door. I was beyond frustrated and simply disappointed in the service we received.

When the hotel house keeping arrived at or room she informed us She could Not remake our beds and re set our sheets if we were in the room. So we would have to leave the room again so she could clean it. So the three of us left the room. So they would be able to redress it. This is by far the biggest inconvenience. I was very unhappy with this experience, we were here on a family vacation celebrating my daughters birthday. She was upset we had to leave the room again, she was tired and wanted to lay down.

As a hotel guest, parent . I...
