Playground — Attraction in San Diego

Not my favorite playground, but my daughter loves it because there are usually kids here all day. Here are the rules they have listed :

HOW TO HAVE THE MOST FUN IN THE CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA •The play area is only open during mall hours. . •This area is unsupervised. Please remain with your child(ren) while they are playing. •If you are over 42" tall. please refrain from using the play equipment. Please wash your hands before and after playing. For the safety of others, please do not enter the play area if you are not feeling well. •There is no time limit for playing in this area. New playground is awful when you compare it to what was before. Basically there is only one piecefor all the kids of all ages to share (fish structure). No more seating anymore either like before except for a hard bench that is perfectly positioned to be in the sun. No shade on the play area either except the shade from Macy's wall if you come in the evening when you probably don't need the shade. I suspect this whole design change was on purpose to make people want to stay here less long and do...

Big wire/rope net fish that can be challenging for 4 year olds. Kids 5-12 can easily scale the highest portions of the fish that have suspended climbing. Has a tiny slide built into the ground that was cleverly set to slide down smooth slats. Have a few interactive sound instruments (2 like xylophones/metal tubes and 1 like plastic drums). A ton of kids and difficult for non-limber parents to go up...
