BEYOND FRESH!!! I cannot rave more about FSSP. We have ordered from them several times and have never been disappointed.

To note, mussels from Salt Spring Island and Mahogany clams on our last couple of orders ALL opened (not a single dud).

I think we are VERY lucky to have FSSP deliver to our doorstep during this pandemic. We have not left our house to dine in almost a year--- So the occasional oyster fest, lobster, and live crab have been a real treat for us. (And yes... our children wanted to keep the crabs as pets -- AHHH sorry kids!)

Ordered twice from them. The first time the fish was bad as it was put into a plastic bag and then left to for 8 hours as it was delivered, so when I received the fish in Palo Alto the fish had a distinctively fishy and putrid smell.

The second time they completely messed up my order. First I explicitly asked them to wrap my fish in paper before putting into the plastic bag to atleast limit moisture and reduce bacteria growth over the delivery process so my fish isn't as smelly. They completely ignored my simple request. Got my fish at 5 PM, was sent out for delivery at 9 AM, so over the 8 hours the fish and products I got became insanely smelly. Not only this, but they forgot to put into my shipment 3 items. So I am missing 3 items but paid for it. What is this.......

First came across Four Star via a farmers' market visit, where I bought some gorgeous shrimp and MEATY dungeness crab. Have been buying from their warehouse since the pandemic started once I found out they also sell online for pickup.

Usually pick up from Ebony, who is a sweetheart! Ebony, Jeff, and Cain are super helpful and you can tell that everyone enjoys working there.

They are willing to help you find the exact item you need, even if you didn't pre-order ahead.

Seafood is fresh and they have unique, seasonal items too. Happy we have access to these otherwise restaurant-grade ingredients. They sell excellent pantry...
