Bella made amazing drinks. After 4 old fashionedās i made a mistake tipping her 7$ for 112$ check. I honestly meant to tip more and just made a mistake. I complimentd her drinks on the way out and she saidā¦āoh really? Cuz youāre a terrible tipperā¦ā i tried to apologise and the crew ganged up on me saying that they would be happy if i didnāt come backā¦that i apologised at all was obviously a mistake. ā20% is why we offer good service to begin with, not for fun ā is what she said. As someone who literally gave 150$ service earlier in the day without a tip, i can tell you sheās full of it. She didnāt make the food i ordered but i guarantee sheās not sharing any of her tip with the food workers. I guarantee they earned it more than she did. If you donāt make a lot of money, are low on cash or are a human pbeing who makes mistakes you might not want to come here. I was so confused and gladly would have tipped more if she had just repeated it back to me. A tip is not required for service and I would like my 7$ back. Iāve worked in service my entire life including as a bartender and never encountered a situation like this, never told someone that their generosity is unwelcomeā¦.. absolutely insane. Not sure how you call yourself a dive bar with entitlement like this. This is why millennials...

Hi Dive is a bar located at Pier 28 1/2 in San Francisco. It's a great place to meet friends for a beer, especially on sunny days when you can sit outside.
Hi Dive has been around since 1935. It started as a small wood-framed bar and restaurant and was once called Boondocks. It was popular with locals and tourists. As the area around it changed, so did Hi Dive. Now, it's a bright and cozy spot with a relaxed feel and great views of the San Francisco Bay and the Bay Bridge. It's also close to Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, making it a popular stop during baseball season. Many people visit for its affordable menu. Though I haven't had a full meal there, I can say their garlic and potato fries are delicious!
On the day my friend visited, we met at Hi Dive for a beer and shared some garlic fries. The two ladies serving outside were very professional and friendly. We had a great time. Hi Dive also has a small indoor space with a long bar that seats about eight to ten people and a dozen tables.
Hi Dive offers stunning views of the San Francisco Bay and the Bay Bridge. It has a good wine list and serves basic bar food and more. Outdoor seating is available, which lets guests enjoy their meals and drinks while taking in the...
