I absolutely love Pier 40 and South Beach Harbor Marina! The whole area is incredibly fun and offers something for everyone. The marina is very well run by the Port of San Francisco and the South Beach Harbor staff, who are super friendly and easy to work with. They’re available almost every day, and there’s always someone on hand in case of an emergency.

The facilities are top-notch, featuring a guest dock with a pump-out station, a yacht club, sailing lessons, and activities for both disabled and non-disabled individuals. All ramps are ADA compliant, ensuring accessibility for all visitors. You can charter a sailboat or powerboat, rent a kayak from City Kayak, or go on a unique waterbiking tour with SpinOut Fitness—both are open and accessible via the guest dock on the north side of the marina opposite the stadium.

Surrounded by cafes, bars, and delicious restaurants, you’re never far from a great meal or a refreshing drink. Oracle Park, aka Giants Stadium, is right next door, making it a perfect spot for sports fans. The area is easy to find and navigate. Just remember to park on the street and not in the private lot unless you have a permit—that’ll save you a $90 parking ticket! Use the PayByPhone app to handle all your parking needs and extend time remotely when you’re in San Francisco.

Ahoy there, future Pier 40 visitors! If you haven't strolled through this gem in the heart of San Francisco, then mate, you're missing the boat—literally! 🚤 Ever dreamed of being Leo shouting "I'm the king of the world!" but without the whole iceberg drama? Here's your chance! Charter a sailboat for a sunset cruise and let the wind ruffle your hair as the golden hues paint the sky. Sail away from those mundane spots and drop anchor at Pier 40—where every visit feels like you've found the treasure....

Pier 40 is not like Peir 39 a tourist destination. I visited this place as a sailing company we hired for sailing on the bay that has docking here. You will have Oracle park adjacent to the SFO train station nearby. There is a lot of parking around but note many of them are closed to the public by 2pm so you plan...
