Saint Frank Coffee — Restaurant in San Francisco

the atmosphere was awesome. this place let anyone bring their dogs in so one women brought in 3 identical brown labs who were barking and going crazy. and then there was a golden poodle large size who was hella chilling and kept licking your hand if you let him. so it was pretty cool just drinking coffee and having dogs come assault you. but i wouldn’t like that if i was tryna work.

for me i was just there to get some to go coffee so i liked the dogs.

the coffee itself isn’t that good for price tbh. i got a regular cappuccino bc their flavored 7$ coffees looked hella odd and i didn’t trust the random fruit flavors. but the cappuccino for 5.50 was pretty mehhh, it was good enough (mediocre) caffeine buzz and taste, but it just wasn’t particularly appealing. nothing stood out about the coffee.

In just a few blocks of Folsom, you can have Philz, Starbucks, Bluestone Lane, or Saint Frank. Although Saint Frank is the furthest from my office, I'll make the trip there. The baristas are kind and easygoing, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is top notch. I also love how they only provide WiFi during the weekdays, leaving weekends to focus on socializing in their wonderful cafe.

The coffee I tried was perfect for what I was looking for. It wasn't trying to blow my mind with its flavor profile, it was just a well crafted coffee made for my morning enjoyment (while my brain is still waking up). There's a lot more varieties I'm going to try, but it's fair to say that on this row of coffee shops, I'll be hanging out at Saint Frank when I need...

They have a restroom inside. Their free WiFi is faster if you sit by the large table next to the restrooms. There are public bike locking racks on the side-walk in front of the store. They also give free drinking water placed in the condiments stand.

They get super crowded even on the weekends with ~20 people on their laptops. I once over-heard a couple of people discussing their startup idea on the table next to me. Great vibes :-)

My favorite drink is the Cappuccino with Single Origin Espresso, or the Filter coffee, or the Mocha.
