Cash only, local bakery with very authentic Latinx desserts. Extremely reasonable prices ($7 for the two pastries I got). For the one on the left, the outside was caramelized with granulated sugar and bread itself was extremely soft and layered. The cream custard inside was sweet, moist, and solid enough not to drip everywhere. The other flakey breaded dessert with powdered sugar had the same custard which was lovely. Again, not tax, all cash. I would invite anyone who is visiting the area looking for great bakes or someone looking to get someone else a baked gift to try this place!

Nice little bakery. Very friendly and good prices. A self serve pot of coffee is available as well. The neighborhood is charming with an old feel to it. Lots of places to grab a meal ranging from original Mexican, Chinese, Thai, and American. We stopped in after having some spicy Mexican food, and a sweet cookie with a fresh coffee went down well. Understand weekend mornings are a favorite time to visit. Fresh pasties and a good vib from the neighborhood. Highly recommended.

I have been on the hunt for a good concha for months and this might have been one of the best concha I've ever had. Staff was friendly and explained some of the desserts I was unfamiliar with. While I can agree with some of the other reviews that the price is higher than most bakeries, I had no problem paying it because of the quality and taste was superior to other bakeries I've had.

I Will forever support the people who create the delicious pastries and keep this business afloat. I witnessed something so special that one of the men who work here did for his community. It was such a blessing to witness and I am so proud of what he did. I will update with his name bc he’s a special person who deserves the world for having such a kind heart.

I witnessed another man in tears while he bit into a soft pastry from La mexicana bakery. He was so thankful and prayed with so much thanks. 😭😭😭 it was...
