A fantastic taco truck with a surprising variety of options. It was almost difficult selecting what I wanted because of all the options. I decided to try the recommended taco al pastor. Looking into the truck it is very impressive what they have set up. Their kitchen is very authentic looking and the food that comes out of it shows the care and preparation they put into it. It was very flavorful and the corn tortillas were top quality. I decided to also get something a little more fusion so I ordered the California burrito as well. It was extremely flavorful. I would definitely order it again. The service was very friendly and fairly fast. I asked a couple questions to the cashier and she generously answered them and took my order with a smile. There were a lot of people ordering, but I still got my food within 10 to 15 minutes. The atmosphere is a parking lot. Not sure what more can be expected. They do have several steel tables set up to eat at, which is very nice. Although, I would not recommend eating there on a windy day seeing as it's right next to the beach. That being said, a high quality taco truck right next to the beach isn't an amazing concept. I highly recommend...
Read moreSo I always go to their truck(s) when I'm in LA (since that's where they're based from. This weekend, we went to SF for Father's Day and saw them posted out at Ocean Beach at the end of The Great Highway! My kid loves their El Pastor Tacos, and it's true it's the best I have had, too. This time, we had carne Asad this time because we had El Pastor 2 was ago at the Sunset Blvd location in LA. This location was a little light on folks, maybe because it was Father's Day and people were out dining elsewhere. Employees were SUPER FRIENDLY as always. However, it was less waiting for me!! Their spit fire was in the truck, unlike the other ones out in LA, which is outside like a show for the customers. Also, there was no salsa bar outside, so you have to ask for the condiments, which I am totally fine with... I recommend their pickled onions with habaneros and the orange habanero sauce if you like spicy. I'm glad we found them because we ended the day watching the sunset while...

When I moved to the Bay Area, I struggled to find good tacos and missed Leo's for years. Now they are closer! My feedback:
I hope Leo's opens a truck in San Jose because I can't make the trip to SF all the time No chairs or tables in the current location. Not ideal, so I hope they can find a better solution for people who want to eat there. While the meat is great and these pretty much resemble the experience from L.A., I'd love to see Leo's experiment with better tortillas. I have been to several taco places in the Bay and I have found better tortillas than that of Leo's. However the pastor is superior and on balance...
