This place was amazing! Not only were the drinks amazing but the service was impeccable. The weather is always sunnier in the Mission which made the experience that much more pleasant.

Considering the location, we didn't have any trouble finding parking. We actually found one right in front. Plenty of outdoor seating with social distancing in full effect! The patio was also very spacious. We came with two large dogs and there were still plenty of space for us to sit in the patio comfortably.

As far as service, the wait wasn't long in regards to ordering. The drinks came before our food and the food came right after. It was perfect timing.

The owner named Brad was a rockstar. We didn't know which cocktails to order so he ordered for us! I'm pretty sure they were the Antidote, Holy Diver and Lost Resort (also one I can't remember.) None of the cocktails were too sweet or too strong (being a bartender, I'm very particular with my cocktails).

The sandwiches we ordered were a great compliment to our cocktails. I had the Cuban Sandwich and my girlfriend had the Vietnamese Crispy Tofu Sandwich. Both were delightful and not too heavy. They also came with chips that were cooked just right.

The vibe is nice. Nothing too crazy or too quiet. The clientele was a nice mix of San Fransicans. The staff and the owner were personable and welcoming with a smile you can see even with their masks on. The employees were safe in regards to Covid and I can appreciate that since I'm a bit of a germaphobe.

My company and I enjoyed ourselves and we can't wait to come back. We plan on making this our new neighborhood spot!

Thanks again for the...

Like many other reviewers, I would walk past this place every day on my shelter-in-place walks, just dreaming of the day it would open and be my new neighborhood spot. I even found myself hanging on their metal patio fence just peering in, like a boy waiting for his father to get out of prison. Now that it's finally open, I can feel the onset of a new drinking habit coming on.

In fact the day I saw this place was open I stopped whatever silly thing I was doing at the time and ran over. I was not disappointed!

When we walked in, we were told they were just getting started with the menu items, and that more would be on the way, but for my tastes this was all I needed. We had a few excellent tequila and mezcal cocktails and a nice salty snack to compliment them. Looking forward to trying more.

My favorite thing about this place though is that their cocktails have the quality levels that you'd find in say a fancy FiDi restaurant, but without any of the pretentiousness that comes with it. The vibe is very laid back and the outdoor seating is the cherry on top.

My one suggestion (and it could be because they just opened) is to work on the beer list a little more, since it's pretty run of the mill. Would love to see them incorporate some local breweries if they can (fieldwork, barebottle, Cellarmaker, etc).

Overall, awesome spot and would...

Had a great time trying Lost Resort in SF a couple weeks ago. It's got a funky patio and a menu full of smart flavor bursts like umami seasoning and togarashi on crispy brussels sprouts and zatar and sumac on a shaved kale & burrata salad.

Cocktails were smooth and tasty: a First Stop for me with bubbly, gin, chartreuse, and lemon hibiscus juice; a margarita for my friend that looked quite nice.

I was disappointed by two surprises in my chilaquiles verdes. The first: a layer of refried beans on the bottom, which were not mentioned on the menu. I hate refried beans, but I could eat most the chips without touching them, luckily. The menu also promised huevos revueltos, but as you can see, a fried egg (huevo frito), not scrambled (huevos revueltos), came on top. I don't mind a fried egg, but I definitely prefer scrambled, especially when it's what I expected!

The brussels sprouts were absolutely killer. They looked overdone, but they tasted AMAZING. Just enough kick, and the seasonings were perfect.

I'd totally go back, but I'd maybe check to make sure that the menu descriptions are fully correct before...

We stopped in for drinks and snacks and initially experienced a bit of a wait to be seated. Despite employees seeing us, we had to approach them to ask about available seating before being directed to a table. After that initial hiccup, the service was fine. We only ordered appetizers, which were decent but not remarkable. The French fries were unique, topped with some kind of crumbles, which we found a bit odd. The ambiance was pleasant, though the music inside was a bit loud. There are also a few outdoor tables and a lounge area. Overall, it was a good experience, and we'd return.

I am reluctantly writing this review, and I will tell you why—Lost Resort is so delicious, I don’t want anyone to know. But that isn’t fair to this gem of a spot, so I will tell about my brunch review. Food is A+. Delicious, fresh, creative, and just as yummy as you could want. Cocktails are right on point, curated to your delight. The service is great, at your leisure, friendly, and kind. The space is awesome, indoor/outdoor, and dog friendly (a must have for me). This is a wonderful spot for a party of 2 or 12. A hidden gem that you will be glad to have found. Beyond delish!
