The staff is friendly but unfortunately there are so many problems with the appointment/walk in system that they’re clearly not equipped to handle. the setup is small and they allow way too many appointments, so it’s insanely crowded and services take 90+ minutes. I was instructed to soak and remove my own acrylics while my technician did someone else’s pedicure, discussed timing with many people waiting, and even left the building to chase down a potential client who decided not to wait. When I struggled to remove my acrylics on my own as I had never done so before, I was met with frustration from the staff. I asked for a fill and my acrylics were completely removed and not replaced. I also asked for an objectively simple design (dot flower) and was told they don’t do designs, even though the photos on their website and Google page clearly say otherwise. Read moreMy friend & I had a lovely pedicure at Ziva Nail Salon. It's a fairly new business in Portrero Hill on a quiet street in a mostly residential neighborhood. The shop itself is small but cozy. The owner was very sweet and accommodating. They have an extremely large selection of quality nail polish brands: OPI, Essie, Zoya, etc., which was awesome to choose from. The massage chairs were comfy and they offer you a tasty beverage while you're getting your service done. The classic pedicure was fairly priced and was anything but basic. It came with a leg and foot scrub followed by exfoliating with 2 fresh cut orange slices and ending with a lotion and hot stone rub. There were so many nice details to our visit and they did a fantastic job on our pedicures. I highly recommend Ziva Nail Salon and will definitely...
Read moreThis is the best Mani/pedi in the city. My husband had toenail surgery and needs to get regular pedicures. We've been all over the city looking for the best and this is it! We came in today and they're the nicest, cleanest, most complete and relaxing experience we've had.
They accept walk-ins although you might have to wait outside for your turn - All good, there's a really good coffee shop right next door! Also a bonus - their massage chairs are amazing!
We payed $35 each for the classic pedi and it includes deep exfoliation (with real oranges!), massage, essential oil soak and nail color. This is the only place we'll be going to...
