Nice floor, vintage feel to the venue, when I go it's mostly dance communities who are kind of insiders - or know insiders to the salsa/bachata/mambo communities. Some dumdum puts a woman-only sign on the handicapped bathroom door, which is a little annoying, aside from dum, But most dancers are friendly, there are more snobby dancers in the mambo community - sorry - I love mambo, but it is what it is. This is an event venue, but it always gets too hot when it gets closer to capacity, so expect to suffer from stuffiness - but if I had to choose between stuffiness and a smaller group of people, I'd still choose the bigger group and sweatbox. Read moreI come here for swing dance lessons, and it is really fun. The live bands at the end makes this place so fun to be at. People will go around to look for partners to dance with, and it is a great way to practice, leading or following.
It looks like they have other dance types on other days of the week too.
I agree with the other post where they said that it gets hot and stuffy. I wish that they would serve bar snacks because I often have to come before I even get dinner and walking around to the nearest Safeway wasn’t a great jaunt in nice clothing.

The food was delicious, the guests all raved about it. Sound tech Glen was patient and professional through the many, many last-minute changes and tweaks to the staging and live mix.
