I have been coming here for 6 months and I am loving the experience. I just signed up for another year. Staff is super friendly, workouts exhausting and the equipment is good quality. Don't expect fancy machines, this gym is class based so most of the equipment are heavy bags, TRX straps, kettle bells, med balls and dumbbells. Even though there are a lot of people in class during peak hours, the place is big and I have always had enough space for my own. Classes are at your own pace, so you can pretty much make them as intense as you want. It's an easy way to push your limits and have such a nice and fun workout. I personally try to do four days of TRX and I already felt in shape in one month. I definitely recommend it.

If you are interested in boxing classes, Cole is great. He’s been in the game for some time and doesn’t overwhelm you with too much information. He takes his time and helps you understand the art of boxing. My schedule at the moment is once a week but I am able to learn so much in that time. When my schedule allows it I am hoping to book more days with Cole like many others have recommended to me. On another note, great staff and good vibes here, they really make you feel welcomed!

HitFit has been my favorite gym in SF. They offer intense HIIT and boxing workouts, month long bootcamps for some serious conditioning. For anyone looking to level up their boxing technique, Leo's classes are a must. I would also jump at every chance to work out with Angela, Cole or Simon! The gym has been modified to ensure social distancing and frequent cleaning for safe workouts during the pandemic.

I've been a member for 3+ years. What started as trying out HIIT classes has grown into a full-blown boxing obsession. I used to think boxing wasn't for people like me--a late 30s mom--but HIT Fit completely changed that perception. It's a sport for everyone, and this gym proves it daily.

What makes HIT Fit stand out is its inclusive, supportive community. You'll see total beginners training alongside seasoned pros, and everyone is cheered on just the same. Whether you're new to fitness or getting back into it, you'll feel right at home.

The trainers are truly top-notch. Here are the folks I work with most frequently: Rafael's Saturday intermediate class is non-negotiable. The playlists, the energy, the personal attention--chef's kiss. Willie's Tuesday/Thursday intermediate class will kick your butt in the best way possible. His combos are challenging, his positivity is infectious, and the end-of-class conditioning? Brutal but you'll leave smiling. Cole teaches a beginner class and the occasional Sunday morning session as well. One of the things I appreciate about Cole’s instruction is the calm way he talks through breathing and punches during warmups and bag work. I really connect with his reminders to move my body, consider my punches, and work with precision. Coach Jalen (aka Juice Mane) has another challenging class, has given me invaluable feedback on my form, always making time for 1:1 pointers. He has great energy and is so encouraging! Simon, the owner, brings serious community vibes. He learns every member's name and isn't shy about calling you out mid-class if you're slacking! You'll love it, I promise.

Recently, the gym got a major upgrade--new bags, a small ring, refreshed weights and training areas. Plus, the class programming and scheduling now offer something for every level.

Pro-tip: Don't skip the beginner classes. They'll help you get the rhythm and confidence before diving into intermediate. Nothing wrong with taking a few of them! Ask for help and feedback, have an open mind to trying something new. I learn so much from partnering with folks at different levels. And if you connect with a trainer, book a 1:1 session--it's worth it to get specialized feedback and training. I now work weekly with Coach Rachelle. Her coaching has been instrumental in helping me refine my skills and stamina. She’s like a friggin hawk when it comes to form and consistency.

TL;DR: HIT...

This is hands down one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a gym. HIT FIT SF is all about screwing over its clients. I was recently relocated for work out of the country so I have had to cancel my contract. They outsource their cancelation policy to a service called ABCFinancial. The people who work in this company are machines and do not know how to think for themselves unfortunately. I have given them ample enough proof showing I have moved but because I can not supply them with a "visa" in addition to my one way ticket and my new lease, they will not cancel it. Then ABCFinancial told me that HIT FIT SF can override the system if they want, so I called HIT FIT SF to tell them the issue I was having with ABCFinancial. They claimed to have no ability to override the system. One of the employees talked to the manager, Laura Stroner, who wasn't able to do anything about it. It is quite concerning that when you join a gym and pay a large amount per month to join that gym and then you have to move for work, that gym can't help you with the situation. Companies are suppose to care about their clients not about screwing them over.

At first I gave HitSF a one star. However, the management at HITSF, once notified of this issue dealt with...

Coach Christina’s HIIT classes at Hit Fit SF Mission are pure fire🔥 This is where grit meets good vibes. The gym itself has that raw, no-frills energy that makes you want to show up and show out. You’ll hear the beat drop, feel the grind in your bones, and suddenly you’re in the zone.

Christina’s energy? Unmatched. She shows up every class with power, presence, and purpose. Her workouts are anything but routine—she keeps it fresh with killer combos, kettlebells, TRX, slam balls, and just the right amount of push. No two classes are the same, and that’s exactly what keeps your body and mind engaged.

What really hits different is her presence. She hypes you up, and meets you where you’re at. Whether you’re just starting out or chasing new PRs, Christina creates space for everyone to thrive. It’s not just a workout it’s a full-body, full-soul reset.

If you’re ready to get stronger, move with purpose, and vibe with a real one—Coach Christina’s...
