The sushi is good enough so that we order it once a week, this week twice. You can read this as the sushi is wonderful! However, I do have a bone to pick, actually two. The first is that if ordering for two or more people be sure to ask for extra wasabi AND soy sauce, you must get both? We always order for two and there is never enough for two people but luckily my wife does not like wasabi and we keep soy sauce on hand. Second, and this is directed to the management at Saki Bomb, when you wrap chop sticks so tightly and then use scotch tape to secure it all together the napkins are useless being impossible to separate the napkin, tape and chopsticks without hiring a nerosurgeon with great scalpel skills if you intend on using the napkin. Personally I don't have too much of a problem since I'll use my shirt or the dog as a napkin. But it's wasteful, just more crap in the landfill, ya know? We appreciate the efficiency but it's not helpful. Consider having to poor soul who's task it is to make these things do something else that will benefit the business like making more dragon rolls!! Yay!!!
If vegan, eat the vegi dragon roll as my wife highly...
Read moreIt was worth one try but we will not be back. I was going to give it 3 stars but then they debated with me on the short rib price. We ordered 3 of them at happy hour prices and they charged me full price. Only $3 difference for 3 orders but I don't appreciate them not knowing their own pricing.
Happy hour menu is pretty much regular price elsewhere and sometime has less food. The big boy roll was not big at all. Only 5 pieces for $12 for happy hour. Other places would have 6-8 pieces.
Tempura mix was a rip off as the 2 shrimp tempura was good but rest was basically mostly batter and oyster mushroom. So you pay $9 for just the two shrimp
I ordered hot tea and they never came by to check if it needs to be refilled. Also our last order of short rib took like 30 min to be served.
Chicken karage and gyoza was just okay. Overall a sub...
Read moreA fun place to gather with friends! Came here on a Saturday and they had ample seating and lots of reservations left.
Good: Very solid sushi rolls! I really loved the 24th and OMG and volcano rolls. Especially with the volcano roll they really loaded up on the crab meat and toppings.
The chicken karaage was good as well and super crispy in texture.
I enjoyed the cute sake cups too.
Bad: Service is so hard to flag down! Really rarely did we get someone to check in on us or get our food order so it was a longer wait time for sure.
Really loud too so it’s hard to hear your friends but it’s a very party hangout vibe.
—— Overall was a fun place for a big group to congregate and enjoyed sharing...
