This is the best torta I’ve had, we will make the drive from Palo Alto to the city any day for these tortas they are that good! We like to call ahead and just pick up since sometimes it can be a little difficult to find parking. I like to get the beef milanesa with everything (avocado, tomato, jalapeño, onions) they are very generous with their meat portions. And of course I have to get their green salsa! My husband gets the cubana, it is so good and packed with meat it must weigh like 3lbs. My daughter get the ham and cheese torta. The flavor is always there, we love tortas Los Picudos because the owner and the staff are always nice, they have never gotten our order wrong, and tortas are always ready when they said they would be. If you are ever in the neighborhood you have to try them, you will love these tortas so much that you will keep coming back. Note: They have made changes for this Covid situation which I appreciate, everyone wears they mask properly, you pick up outside where if other people are waiting you can maintain 6ft distance.

Good torteria in the Mission. The tortas were good. We tried chicken and carne asada torta. They were both good. The bread is good! We felt that the chicken could’ve used some more flavor. The tortas are easily shareable, or not 😋The orange juice is freshly squeezed in front. I noticed they are known for their torta cubana and smoothies. Will come back some day to try out. Establishment The restaurant is small, so I would recommend taking the tortas and making a little park stop to enjoy them. They do have indoor seating but small.

Legit has to be one of the best torta spots in SF. I usually get the milanesa res or de pollo with queso fresco. The torta is super well balanced; it is not stuffed to the brim, it’s not soggy from hella condiments and it’s made with quality ingredients. The “thing” that makes the torta for me is the sauces, both green and red. I usually go a few drops of each on every bite and they just add that extra little something. I also recommend to eat in. The line can be a little long but waiting until you get home is not the move.

I came here with high hopes of it being the best torta place in the mission (and I'm now on a mission (har) to find it). I read a bunch of glowing reviews on multiple sites about this place but honestly I wasn't that impressed. I got the carnitas torta (fist mistake, should have stuck with milanesa). The carnitas here don't have much any flavor and you have to pay extra for avocado, which I thought that was just a given on a torta. I also like my torta bread a bit lighter and fluffier, this one was all smashed and dense. The totra hunt is still on for me. Although I'll likely come back and try the milanesa. Service was quick and they take credit card over $5...

For those who don't know about Tortas its the sandwich that is going to change your life. Prepared with a bread known as Teleras or otherwise known as Bolillo, you don't get crunch like this with any other kind of bread hands down, bottom line. I recommend this place's Torta de Milanesa de res to everyone I meet, its basically chicken fried steak with all the torta fixin's and it's the best thing you are ever going to put in your mouth. Also you have to, HAVE TO, get a mamey liquado "milkshake" i cannot stress this enough that you have been missing out in life, no, your life hasn't even started until you have drank this heavenly concoction. Happy stuffing of...
