Delicious, fresh sandwiches, clean store, and great service.
I saw the sign on the awning that said there were sandwiches. The place is Muni themed and features art with the Boeing LRVs and old Muni transfers. It was stocked with the usual snacks and drinks you'd find in a corner store. It wasn't a large place, but there was a good variety. When I got to the sandwich counter, asked the man behind the counter what he recommended and he told me the M. Two other customers who seemed to be regulars also said to get the M, so that's what I got. I asked for no jalapeno though.
After my sandwich was made and wrapped in parchment paper secured with a branded sticker, the employee helped me at the cash register. After exiting the store, I smelled really good food. Another man was outside the store barbequing. According to him, they cook their meat daily. While I was walking away, I could still smell the food from half a block away, so I hastily walked back to ask what he was cooking. "Jerk chicken." I plan to go back to try the jerk chicken because it smelled amazing.
I unwrapped my sandwich at a bench near Balboa Park BART and proceeded to eat it. Tender tri-tip steak and pickles were covered in sauces inside a soft bread roll. I highly recommend visiting the M stop and trying...
Read moreSandwich! Sandwich! Sandwich! frankly speaking I didn't expect the sandwich to be that good. Super delicious. A mixture of every tasteful bite is like -😘mua-heaven.
Roast beef sandwich M line was always sold out. Please see my new update photo you will know why. I stock 7 sandwich M Line in my freezer whenever I can because last time I had it, it's 2 months ago. I air fry them with air fryer, make the bread crispy outside and warm inside, it taste as good as 1st day everytime I had it. The M Line remind me of Taiwanese breakfast 美而美漢堡,it's also a taste of my childhood memory.
But I did try every flavor of the sandwich even though I am not vegan I tried the N Line, even though I am not a fan of Turkey I tried L Line & T Line. Over all it's all very good, but my favorite is still M Line.
My secret is call first( I join an M Line Sandwich wait list, I think I am on top of the list), paid with venmo and pick up on my way home. Super efficient.
I am a little bit wagamama (think freely and act freely), sometimes I ask Sal to make me something not on the menu.

Read moreI've been coming to the M Stop for a while now. All the sandwiches are really tasty and the owner sal uses the freshest ingredients possible. Everyday he starts early. Putting meats on the smoker you can smell it coming up the block. A wonderful aroma of smoked meat. Step inside the M Stop and you're taken back in time the early '90s with a bunch of Muni decor seats, posters, tickets. Really cool inside. Shows a lot about San Francisco history with the Muni memorabilia. I opted for their most popular sandwich which is the M line it has smoked halal tri-tip. I always get it on a soft roll with extra barbecue sauce. It is so damn good. Get my sandwich with the bag of chips and one salam cola. Oh and Can't forget about the dessert selection I always opt for the homemade banana pudding sheesh it's good. Can't beat it. When I'm in the area I definitely will hit up M Stop and I suggest whoever is reading this to do the same. You won't be disappointed Sally's a great guy down to earth....
