CONTRARY TO OWNERS RESPONSE I SAID NO BAG, MAN AT COUNTER STATED NO TAX ON EBT, CHARGED ME 4 DIFFERENT PRICES. TWO DIFFERENT PRICES EBT- SAME ORDER, 14.98 THEN 10.75 ON EBT EBT machine DID NOT WORK WHEN I WENT TO PAY CASH HE CHARGED ME 11.75. credit card was 12.75. This is not an honest transaction no matter how you try to excuse it. This place us a scam from the beginnings, when i ordered. I had read reviews on how they charged other customers, but i went with open mind. When I went in ordered Terriyaki Beef, i ask no bag so no charge .25, they were out of fresh cooked vegetables, was salad ok he ask i said sure(online had 2 different priced menu 1 menu theiuirs was $8.75 thrir website, other Delivery apps was 11.75)was charged 14.98 i say tax is 8.63% in San Francisco so either 9.50@ 8.75 + tax, or 12.76 @11.75+tax, not 14.98 ? I ask what was price he said scan the code, No menu of prices on wall, No menu to look at prices anywhere? I left went on phone sat outside went back. I said current price must be 8.75 or is it 11.75 which is it?, then suddenly he says 10.75 he says no tax and no bag with ebt card i scanned it 4 or 5 times it did not work? Ok i will pay cash, suddenly its not same cost its now 11.75? Because of tax he says. Which is still wrong - Then with a credit card it's 12.75? Si how was it 14.98 before? He was just making up prices from card scanner to cash regigster. DonT trust this place askn for reciept and check tax charged, bag fee, credit card fee, cash fee, made up fee, fake fees, fake charges or imaginary cost per item. It really doesnt matter good food I would not know, when staff or msnager, cheats customers on cost when ringing up, this place...

when the manager is working the register everything is great but the woman and the chef tend to over charge when working the register .today i went in and the chef charged me a dollar more than the actual total then another dollar for using food stamps. although the guy who im pretty sure is the manager is always polite,efficient, and honest. was going here everyday for breakfast but now i can only comfortably go when the managers there or else i run the risk of being ripped off.no other place from new york to california has ever charged me a dollar fee to use my ebt card for a purchase until this cafe. its a decent...

This is just a spot to get food in a food desert. Overpriced for what you get and took 20 minutes to get my order and I was the only one there. Paid $13.00 plus tip for less and an egg and a few bacon strips. Bacon has black spots on it and kind of smells weird. Was almost late to work.

I tried this place a few years ago for lunch and it was also not great and a super long time to get food. The staff seems nice but it’s just not great.
