Oh man do I have a lot to say. We had reserved spots for the restaurant and the receptionist was very rude to us and denied us our spot for a good 20 minute. The price for the food was unreasonable because one, the food was not that good at all and trust me I know my food as a chinese boy and this is not good, two, there was too many garlics put in to the food and a extraordinary amount of soy sauce and other ingrediant which gave the food such a strong umami taste. The waitress was really nice though. I would say if you bought your own ingrediants to make the food they have, itll probably be better and cheaper. Would I come here again? Probably not. Had lunch here at 1:15 pm with the parentals because it was the only time they felt safe dining out. The entire upstairs dining room was practically empty and we sat next to windows which we opened. They have lunch specials (i.e. rice plates) for $11.50 and their full dinner menu available. They were out of sea bass and stuffed fried tofu so we ordered giant clams ($9.50 for two shells) which were very fresh. Beef with mushrooms and oyster sauce was a winner. Also love their garlic pea shoots and salt and pepper pork chop. The only thing that was not great was their catfish over tofu. It was served sliced up with black bean sauce which some Chinese people believe can disguise a dead fish, but I know this was live because I heard them fish it out of the tank and weigh it...

Some of the food was good. Fish was excellent but too small. Some of the food lacked flavor. Place has a new name. Not sure if it's different owners and or new chefs. I would give this place 3 and half stars if I could. The food was also expensive per plate for what we ordered. Average cost per plate was 14 dollars. While there was one that was 33 dollars which was the cost of the fish plate. And 22 for a double order of won ton soup, also lacking any real flavor. Way over priced. Altogether including tax and tip, for a whole family we spent 220 dollars. And the portions were not very generous at all.
