Updated review: They charged us $70+ without giving us any food at all. Extremely horrible service. We went in and gave them our order at 12:15. At around 12:30 they still didn't bring the side dishes. Instead, the two servers were just standing there chatting. I asked them for the side orders, and they said they'll bring it right out. Yet, they brought it out to the other tables first before coming to us. Then, at 12:40, I was worried about not having enough time to eat, so I asked for check and pick it to go. They insisted it'll be out in 5 minutes, so we decided to wait for 5 more minutes. However, at 12:50, the food was still not out! So I told them I want everything to go. They refused to pack the food for us, and just threw a bunch of to go boxes on our table.
This used to be my favorite tofu soup place, I liked it even more than A ri rang. But, I guess the servers changed during covid. The customer service is the worst I've ever seen.
What's worse? they end up charging us for the food, and didn't give us any food at all. We had to go back to work empty handed and starving They even refused to refund us the money.

However, when my brother went to pay for the food and was heading out, the waiter stopped us. The waiter was upset with us and told us why we gave him a 3 dollar tip. My brother was telling him to get $80 as the total for our food payment, rounding up so we won’t get change back. The waiter got upset with us saying this restaurant doesn’t pay him a lot and the tip helped him, he then forced my brother to give him a 10% tip, which would give him $8 dollars more. This made us feel very uncomfortable due to him demanding more money from the customer. My brother ended up giving the waiter the 10% tip he demanded from us. Like I’m sorry!?? Did my brother do something wrong here? I thought the customer could customize the tips to whatever amount of their choosing, but I guess that’s not the case in this situation to our disappointment.
