365 Mediterranean Deli — Restaurant in San Jose

This is a local family place father & son who are Greek. The owner is friendly and of course we had a conversation about my name- if you speak Greek then you’ll know. Food is more fast food take out service than deli (they changed format during Covid). Solid American popular Greek foods like gyros and everything you would expect done well. This is a small takeout restaurant with some seating so there’s possibly cross-contamination between meat items and plant items that are vegetarian; it’s still easy to enjoy items that you would usually guess like salad, french fries, falafel, hummus plate, etc. can work for somebody who is not perfectly strictly vegetarian. I just went here for the first time. It was not my first time eating this type of food, though. Bit pricey, but when you get your food, you'll understand. It's also quality over quantity. My falafel salad was ginormous! My lamb beef Giro was ginormous! I also got the tiramisa. Chef/owner who knows, was pleasant, some misunderstandings, so make sure you're both on the same page. Update 12/28/19: I ordered lunch through Door Dash and the restaurant packaged everything perfectly, sent everything I could need as if I were dining in the restaurant, including bread and butter for my soup. I am blown away at this little restaurant's top notch service! Big chains don't put as much care into their overpriced...
