Antojitos Chapines Food Truck — Restaurant in San Jose

This is one of the best food trucks I’ve been to by far and definitely the best in the Bay Area, specifically San Jose. The prices are affordable, the variety of authentic Mexican and Guatémalienne food is to die for. The staff is super friendly and the service is fast. Two days before I came to get food I was thirsty and wanted some water. I assumed I could get a free water cup perhaps The lady at the front said it was a dollar for a bottle, but I did not have one. Nonetheless she offered me a free one. I made it right today and paid of course and got me some of their beautiful Al Pastor tacos. I never review places but I felt I HAD to give this place some love. I am based in Santa Cruz but work over the hill a lot and whenever I’m scheduled near this place I get excited for the Tacos Dorados at lunchtime. They are SO good and the salsa is amazing and has a great spice level, my coworker and I like to dump it on for a nice kick before heading back to work hah.

The woman who runs the register window is always extremely nice and friendly it’s an all around great experience I look forward to when I’m in the area.
