I do NOT recommend The Kickin Crab based on a disappointing experience today. The unprofessional behavior of the manager and their refusal to provide a proper resolution were major letdowns. I had a very disappointing experience at The Kickin Crab tonight. We ordered Combo#2 with King crab leg. While the food was decent, the way things were handled towards the end was a major letdown. Towards the end of our meal, we discovered a long hair in the bag near the corn, which was truly unpleasant and off-putting. Seeking a resolution, I approached the manager, who displayed an rude and dismissive attitude. Despite the clear evidence of a hair in the food, the manager tried to justify it by claiming it was a hair from the crab shell or a string from the box, he said they don’t know. I pointed out that the hair I found was long and distinct, not matching their explanation of crab shell hairs. Also, I have had the seafood boil for many times in different restaurants, and I have never seen such a “crab string” in my food. I can’t help suspect that the food wasn’t cleaned thoroughly in their restaurant. When I expressed my desire for a resolution or some form of compensation from the restaurant, the manager responded with an arrogant attitude, “You can post a bad review or you can go see a doctor, whatever. But if you are requesting a 50% off, you are killing me. ” When I said this was not a satisfactory response I expected, he replied "You already ate your food, right?" These answers were shockingly rude to me. To make matters worse, when my husband joined the conversation and tried to find a resolution, the manager ignored my presence and attempted to charge my husband the full amount, completely disregarding my perspective. When I confronted the manager about this discriminatory behavior, he responded with a contemptuous laugh and replied, “No, it's because you upset me." Such unprofessional conduct is unacceptable in any setting. The manager then contacted his boss and informed me that the only offer available was a 20% discount on the check, amounting to $96.24 that I still had to pay, without even a simple apology. We paid the amount of $96.24 and then left the restaurant with disappointment. It’s truly shocking to encounter such unprofessional behavior from a renowned brand. The manager's lack of accountability was just plain disappointing. Instead of addressing the cleanliness issue and offering a sincere apology, they brushed it off and made excuses. It's important for a restaurant to prioritize cleanliness and take customer concerns seriously. I really hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their customer service and cleanliness standards. In the meantime, I'd suggest looking for other dining options that value their customers and prioritize their satisfaction.

Our group could have not red meat for dietary and religious reasons, and the order came out with sausages after we specified we wanted it substituted out. Mistakes happen, but the "new" order that came out still had sausage in it, that we found at the bottom of the bag when we were nearly finished. We brought this up to their attention and they were very rude and argumentative about it--first arguing that there was no way the sausage could have ended up in there (with the sausage in plain sight) then saying we should still pay for it since we ate a lot of it. After a whole phone call having to be made to the owner, they reluctantly took it off the bill, hence the 2-star instead of 1. We would have not eaten even a bite had we known there was even meat juice in the bag.. but they seemed convinced we lied about it somehow, when it seems most likely that our "new" order just was our old order that had the sausage picked out by hand, so we were the one that were lied to. I would have appreciated if they treated this situation with the same respect as if we had someone with a severe allergy with pork sausages, because that's how we ourselves treat it, but instead we were met with unapologetic arguments. What happened was morally wrong and I will not be returning to Kickin' Crab.

They offer a vast variety of delicious food. I enjoy eating here. Staff members are always friendly, pricing is fair and the place is always kept clean. Eating here was an unusual experience and I would recommend visitors to know a few things before they enter. They serve cooked crab/lobster/etc in a plastic bag with all the gravy in it. They don't serve spoons, forks or even plates. You need to be comfortable eating with your hand and its going to get very very messy. Despite being busy, the staff did an excellent job making sure that we had everything needed to feast! Along with the appetizers, we ordered the kickin combo deal #1. For a family of four, all of this food was more than enough; we underestimated how much food was going to be in the seafood bag. Overall, the food is a little on the saltier side. We loved how thinly sliced the fries were, making them extra crispy. Calamari was excellent; they were crunchy and tasty. We wished we substituted the garlic noodles for another order of calamari! The garlic noodles became overbearing after the first bite; I wouldn't recommend it. We would come here again.

I feel bad for doing this.. But this a real review. So here we go!! as my Roomate and I navigated to a Pho place I saw kickin' crab. I thought to my self I've been to their competitors but have never tried this chain. I'm not in the area often, so we should take advantage. Pho would have to wait another night. As we walked in to find the hostess. No one was at the podium(720pm on a Saturday). 2 different groups of employees stop by talking among them selves. And NO ONE greeted us. As I looked around I was liking the place.. Lively MUSIC, it looked like a nice big space, you can smell the deliciousness, I got excited. Finally got the attention of the hostess and told him that we were waiting, & were a party of 2. Used the restroom since their was a wait.. Bathrooms was in need of a check in and I told a waitress that walked by. Short 5 minutes later we got seated. As I waited for the full experience. We asked a couple questions about the menu. Placed an order for wings for the appetizer (recommended by another review). Waited about 20 mns for the food with no check in. Then finally Got our drinks, then another 6-7 minutes get our food. I was so disappointed in the lack flavor and taste. We ordered Cajun, which is supposed to have habanero. But instead we received a lot more garlic flavoring instead. Our Cal king crab was cold, corn was cold... Wings super fresh but tasteless, again no flavor. Ask about why garlic was the prodomanant since we ordered Cajun; pointed out the food was cold since we just got it, and the Supervisor that came to look into our concern only offered to warm up the food.

All in all the portions seem a bit bigger than boiling crab so I could not tell since everything we ordered came in one bag. Positive note Waitress the Bustboys Personnel seems really nice friendly. But food was not that great. So unfortunately I will not be...

The food here is great, seasoning is awesome and all of the seafood was fresh (although I did expect the shrimp to be peeled).

The problem lies within the service, our waiter was horrendous. We ordered 4 King Crab Legs for our table, typically you would receive Crab Cracker utensils to actually eat the crab. We thought maybe they don't use those here, so struggled to open our crabs to eat the meat, no problem. Then I saw every table around us had received Crab Crackers with their meals. I asked the waiter for the crackers, he never brought them.

All that's well enough, no biggie. Here is where the problem started. The waiter stops by to refill a water, in doing so he knocked the side of the table with his hip, sending the bag of hot liquid seafood seasoning all over my lab and leg. He quickly ran from the table, for which I assumed to grab a towel to help clean the mess, now covering my shorts, leg and floor. I was incorrect. He never came back to our table. I had to ask another waiter if he would be so kind to help us clean up the mess - I will say this person was super helpful and very kind.

Accidents happen, I understand, but I did expect at least an apology for spilling piping hot liquid seafood seasoning all over me. To top all of it off I had surgery on my foot last week, so I'm on crutches trying to hobble around and clean up the giant mess and it looks like I had a major #2 accident all over my shorts and there is now seafood seasoning covering all of my bandages. Not a great look!

For a $200+ dinner the food was great, but I was disappointed in the overall...
