Aqui Willow Glen — Restaurant in San Jose

Usually have an enjoyable time at Aquí locations as we frequent often, however, the time, it wasn't so enjoyable. One of the meals we ordered came out wrong and 3 of the cups we had we're dirty, we didn't really notice until after half of our drinks were gone. No biggie. So we order another round of drinks and find that the cups aren't clean once again. Rather than be a thorn in their side, we ask for plastic cups. They give it to us. We pour our drinks in them while at the table, still consuming our food and chips. Next thing we know, one of the team members by the name of Andreas comes to our table very aggressively and accused us of trying to smuggle drinks out of the restaurant and asked for the cups back. It was truly embarrassing. The fact that he assumed that of regular customers. Like our group would break the law and leave with alcoholic beverages. Most of all, it was really disappointing as not only do we frequent the locations often, but we have several group of friends that do as well. We didn't ask for our money back or anything after getting dirty dishes. We tried to be understanding and solve the problem ourselves. I guess that wasn't the right thing to do. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this location due to their harsh treatment to the customers. No respect at all...

This is a disappointing review. I have been to this place several times and I loved this place and bragged of this place often to coworkers, friends, and family. However, today when when I came with a group, one of our dinner order we received dirty cups. They fixed the food order. Instead of having them remake our drinks, we simply asked for new plastic to pour the drinks into and drink out of something clean. They gave is all cups. Shortly after, Andreas came to our table very aggressively and accused us of trying to leave the restaurant with the drinks. We were confused because we were still eating the meals we ordered and having a good time at the time of his arrival to the table. I paid over $150 easily for my small group. Not only was this embarrassing, but I was appalled and the demeanor of this man. Knowing the situation, I'm unsure of why he acted with so much aggression. He was very rude and disrespectful over the plastic cups at the table. Again, we come to Aqui locations at least 3 times a month. Now we will not be returning to this location due to this incident as we are niw uncomfortable. What a lack of understanding and customer service. Mentioned this to the person who claimed to be a manager after 20 minutes and he did absolutely nothing. Not...

My fiance and I went in to Aqui on a Saturday night expecting to get a quick bite. We dont go out much anymore, so we forgot how the Saturday night crowd would be. The restaurant was very full! I'm pleased to say that despite how busy they were, the staff was friendly, speedy and helpful. The line went by rather quickly because the staff were directing the guests to each open cashier including the one in the bar. They were very efficient, the crowd was lovely and the FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! I work for WW (formerly known as Weight Watchers) and I am happy to report that this establishment is WW friendly in so many ways -- from their healthy, fresh ingredients to their salsa bar -- they were so helpful to me stay on plan that they even were willing to replace my chips for broccoli and cucumber slices. Wow! Talk about above and beyond. The entire restaurant was full, including the patio yet, that only added to the experience -- all of the patrons were in a good mood -- some gathered at the bar to watch the Sharks play, others went back and forth with their drinks from the bar to the patio.
