We found this place recently because my sister is a foodie and has been wanting to go for awhile. We finally went and it was so amazing! We ordered at the counter because we didn’t realize you can order at the table. So we didn’t forgot that option the second time we went.
We ordered the half and half original + secret sauce wings. It comes as a combo of wings and drums. It comes with the pickled radish. We got sweet potato fries and the kimchi fried rice. Our eyes wanted more, but we knew we could only handle what we ordered. We wanted to order something else the next time we went, but it was so good the first time that we had to get it again.
They serve you iced cold water. Everything else is kind of self serve: utensils, cups, plates, napkins and most importantly: gloves.
The first time we got the spicy sauce on the side, it believe it’s the secret sauce but xxxxxtra spicy!! It was very good, very spicy but very worth it. We were full for the rest of the day and I even had some fries and a few pieces of chicken left over for work the next day. My coworkers needed to know where I got it because it smelled so good after I warmed it up via air fryer. I made rice at work and had it with the leftovers, it was still soooo good.
The next time we had it, we got the same order and again I have some to bring to work tomorrow. It’s always a good place to go and it’s right next to h mart. So after you get full, take a slow walk through h mart after your meal.
10/10 would go again and I’ve been recommending it to everyone who’s been asking where to get kfc, KOREAN...
Read moreWas looking to rekindle some nostalgia from one of my favorite wing chains from NJ. Wings were good, but 8 wings for $20+ was a bit pricier than most places... basically double than what I expected. Ordering ahead for pickup was a nightmare.
Ordered before dinner hours, text message receipt gave me a time to arrive. After getting there on the dot, gave my name to the cashier and they asked me to wait another 10 minutes. Apparently their system has a different time for pickup than what the customers get, and witnessed multiple people run into the same issue. No biggie, waited right next to the cashier.
10 minutes later after seeing my order tracking also say it's complete, I ask again just to be sure I didn't miss my name being called. They said to wait a little longer. 13 minutes later after giving them some constant stares for some time, I walk up again and ask. Apparently it was bagged and ready to go for some time. 23 minutes of additional waiting past pickup, (only three tables occupied) and the cashier did not call my name despite me having asked twice. I expected some memory or at least to have names called out for all orders instead of being selective. Unlikely I'll try again from the service and the...
Read moreI wanted something small so I got an order of cheese sticks and a bottle of plain water. That ran me almost $12. While waiting for the cheese sticks, I thought maybe I'd get some ranch to dip them in too. Ranch is listed on the menu at 50c. But it's actually about $2. I pointed out that it's 50c on the menu and .... it's $2. The whole concept that if they put 50c on the menu it probably ought to be 50c just about fried their brains. I didn't get the ranch, I just stopped talking about it and the gal working there just stood there while I walked back to sit down at my table, and I guess eventually re-booted and wandered off to ... do things.
Atmosphere: There was a family in there with a kid who was coughing like TB is the hot new thing. As soon as I got my order I was outta there.
Food: The cheese sticks are on a par with anything you'd buy out of the freezer case in a supermarket and put in the toaster oven. Mediocre.
I'd really like to come back and give them another try but the chicken is really expensive so that's probably not...
