El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in San Jose

OK I see you only respond when you get good feed back. But I hope you take this seriously and make improvements. On last night 7/31/18 at about 8:00-8:30 me and my wife went to go have dinner. As we stood in line waiting to place our order looking around noticed that the tables were dirty and the counter where the sauces were was filthy sauces spilled all on the counter. When we received or food my wife was not happy with her plate the chicken was dry and it looked like it was sitting out for a long period of time. She went to if she could get some wings that weren't so over cooked. The manager at that time told her that's all they had all the wings were like that, never asked if she wanted to have something else. So we decided to get our refund and go elsewhere. Then my wife had to hear the cashier talk about me and my wife about how we aren't used to eating chicken like this My wife is Mexican and understands Spanish She then stated while the manager was standing there I understand Spanish and I can hear you. The manager in Spanish told the young lady to shut up and because she can understand you. She was told to apologize, her response was I didn't say anything to her. I work for the 49ers and trust me if I was disrespectful like that I would not have a job. And if my wife kept quite would the manager have said anything at all. I would give this place 0 star if I could, if you like waiting for a long period of time for your food, you’ll love this place. There were also other customers complaining about the wait time, one lady had to wait 15 minutes for two small mashed potatoes. I recalled her order being number 90 while orders 93,94, and etc were finished already. I’ve visited other el pollo places where the service is fast even though they’re busy and had a drive-thru. Speaking of which, this place doesn’t have a drive-thru so I’m not sure why the service is slower here. Finally, when my food was done, no one was there to handed out to me. My would would be behind the counter sitting for more than 5 minutes and it wouldn’t even be warm anymore. This happened to everyone else also. Everything was going so good until 12:35pm I'm never going back El Pollo Loco with my service animal if any of the employees know her patches says " stop no eye contact" from this incident I'm not okay because there is no need to ask me if I have a "muzzle" for that we got kick out. and if you know muzzles aren't necessary for all Service Dogs , they do have a role in certain situations. I don't feel welcome anymore because of this incident today March 1, 2023 and she only bark because someone was giving her eye contact ! it says on her patches " stop no eye contact " and from there she bark in El Pollo Loco because she felt uncomfortable by one of El Pollo Loco employees looking at her & from there it wasn't good. then some employee assume I knew Spanish they use the microphone saying something I don't know what but what I can say is what a horrible experience .
