Pricy. I dont recommend Lamb w/Noodle 14.99. They give tiny bowl with tons of Noodle ( not good, fully cooked but nothing special). The reason I dont recommend the Noodle for 14.99 is you hardly get any soup. The Lamb soup taste like MSG? Or my Dad complain that you cannot taste No Lamb flavour for 14.99 we would be better to order the Lamb soup for 10.99 No noodle. Just go to Pho Banh Mi, the soup is light there but no MSG.
My Dad said it is not worth 50 or 60 dollars. Kind of Rip off. Maybe the dumpling were better but expensive. They force you to tip 18 percent, so I wrote this review to warn people. The service is not there. You have to ask for Refil ( they charge $ 2 for hot tea and dont refill unless you ask). You also have to ask for togo container. They dont really check to see if everything is Ok. I would have ask for hot water ( since they charge 2 dollar for tea) just ask for extra hot water for the cold soup. Since they hardly give you any soup it becomes cold soon.
All my Dad order was pig ears ( not good, you get better pig ear at chinese supermarket), Woodear ( I dont know why he orders this mushroom, nothing special) & he order the Fried Huoshao...I dont know what it is called but it is only six for 12 dollars. That was the only thing that was good but I was not in mood for it. The oil spill out. I simply ask Dad to order chicken soup but he never let me order. Anyhow, it was not worth it. I would have given it one star but gave them two stars because the fried buns were good...just kind of rip off. I'd come help them on the weekend ( I think they are hiring) because I would give better service but I hate ripping people off and would be embarrassed to charge 14.99 lamb noodle with tiny bowl and...
Read moreGreat value and authentic taste! The Beef and Pork Huoshao were winderful...baked flaky crust! The baba and mamacome from Northeast China (Liaoning I think) and are very proud of their province in China. The dumplings can come steamed or panfried. They have black vinegar...a step up from regular vinegar. A real Chinese restaurant indeed! I wish they had Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup...but the Pork with Pickled Mustard Noodle Soup was delicious! Next time I will try the Chicken Soup. We had the beef dumplings as well as the Shrimp, Pork and Chives. One can see them making the dumplings...so fresh. Their son, the owner, should be proud of his parents who work so hard and are very hospitable. We will be...
Read moreGreat place for lamb dumplings! The food is delicious and never fails. The pandemic means that these days all orders have to be to go. But it is very much worth it! Order the dumplings frozen and cook them at home for the better deal. Or order them ready to eat and grab one the seats on the outside plaza and enjoy them right away.
The meat is fresh and with the perfect blend of spices and umami. The dough is just right between chewy and tender. Add your favorite Asian sauce (soy sauce, gyoza sauce etc) and your tastebuds...
