Phin Cafe - Bollinger Rd | Cupertino — Restaurant in San Jose

I’ve been here 4 times since they opened 2 weeks ago and will definitely be adding Phin Cafe to my regular rotation of coffee shops. So far I’ve tried the egg coffee, Nutella banana coffee, chai coffee, and most recently the coconut coffee (pictured). Ratings below.

Egg coffee: 5 stars - flavor is great and would definitely order again. Once the egg topping is mixed in, the drink becomes pretty thick which isn’t my favorite thing but this drink still deserves 5 stars. Nutella banana coffee: 4 stars - flavor is great but coffee flavor is not strong which I don’t mind. Kind of tastes like a thinner version of a chocolate banana milkshake. Chai coffee: 3 stars - couldn’t taste the chai and this coffee is closer to what you’d get at a regular coffee shop in the form of a latte. Coconut coffee: 5 stars - sooo good. Very refreshing and perfect for a hot day. More of a blended/slushy texture which I like.

I’ve also had the chicken banh mi and the pork banh mi - both were good but I preferred the pork.

Great drinks! My sister got the egg coffee and I got the Banana matcha. They make their own banana milk too which added a subtle sweetness to the matcha, which I liked (I got “regular sweet” and it wasn’t too sweet which was good). The matcha itself was also very tasty and not bitter. Wish they were able to make the banana matcha as a hot drink; I actually warmed it up at home and it was still really good. My sister liked the egg coffee and she really liked the consistency of the egg foam and how it didn’t make the drink too thick. She got “less sweet” and she was happy with the level. We hope they add a regular banana coffee too! The egg coffee is definitely the most popular. i love phin cafe 🙏🙏 this place serves the best viet coffee drinks, matcha, and food (savory and sweet). their standout dishes are the viet coffee with the cold foam toppings and the matcha variations. other stuff is good but those are their best items! banana matcha is great, strong matcha flavor, banana flavor is strong but not artificial. all their drinks are on the sweet side so i recommend doing half sweet! its also a really good spot to get work done, as they have tons of seating, wifi, charging, and a bathroom. parking is pretty easy but the lot is on the small side and can get crowded. def...
