A IHOP in an unexpected location! That is a big problem I precieve. NOONE is really aware of this restaurant. Tucked away near the side of two neighborhood roads in a strip mall it just doesn't generate mud day traffic. Which is a shame as they do have other tasty food if done right When we walked in tho clean and pleasant NOONE greeted us! It was a ghost town with only only myself and companion in the place. After yelling if "Anyone was there" for a full minute, we FINALLY got a response before awaiting another minute before someone emerged from the back. Once served the waitress/manager? was attentive and kind, however the food could have been better. It was tasty, but barely heated to comfortable serving temperature. I also had to ASK for a NEW bowl of half and half creamer as my one on the table was WARM! When bought back I swear she just handed me back the same bowl as it was also lukewarm. Does their fridge not work? Also Hashbrowns were NOT fried crispy on both sides as requested and the potatoes pancakes were over fried but cold as pre fried and just barely nuked. Also serving size of the pot roast was skimpy with little gravy. Overall I could overlook the "ghost town" experience as labor costs are high and salaries low in an expensive part of town, but breakfast staples like potato pancakes and hashbrowns are long standing staple sides you would expect them to get right. The cook needs to listen to the waitress and cook the order right!. More attentive to detail, temperature, and plating could make for more traffic midday. This and marketing to this rather than just breakfast will make or break this location. I probably won't be back. For the $ I can get a properly cooked...
Read moreWe came to IHOP on Miller Street on Sunday late morning. The restaurant was quite full, but there was no wait, oddly enough. It took a decent amount of time for our server to come to the table. She did understand our request for 1/2 caffe coffee in our pot, so that was a win. Our order came out correctly, and the food looked very tasty and actually was! Two people of our group had come to this location not long ago, had horrible service and the food was not good either, so this was a nice surprise. I didn't know about the bad experience earlier or I would've suggested something else so I'm glad I didn't know. It took a little longer than we would've liked to get water and hot sauce but I'm anyways elated just to get a correct order! I would come back, and I am very happy with the new menu items (or at least new to me since I haven't been in a few years). I hope IHOP is able to survive their financial struggles because it would be a shame to...
Read moreThe last time I was there, it was about 8:00pm on a Saturday. There was 4 of us. They were only 2 other tables occupied. When the hostess/waitress came to the front to seat us the look on her face was as if we were annoying her by making her have to work. She sat us, but no menus, got up and got our own. In about 5 -6 mins. the waitress finally came over to our table still an annoyed look on her face and just stood there. Finally my husband said we are ready to order..."Oh" she says and takes our order. Not one of the orders was correct. One order was missing the bacon, one had no toast, one had the complete wrong meal and I had ordered Strawberry and cream crepes only there was no cream....I mean really. I will say every other time there has...
