I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gabrielle's Food Market shortly after they opened for the day, and I must say, it was quite an enjoyable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the wide variety of food options available, both packaged and prepared.
The store had an extensive selection of packaged goods, ranging from imported snacks to locally sourced products. It was a delight to explore the shelves and discover unique items that I hadn't come across elsewhere. Whether you're looking for pantry staples or special treats, Gabrielle's Food Market seemed to have it all.
What really stood out during my visit was the selection of freshly prepared foods and cooked dishes. The sight of all those delectable options made it a tough decision to settle on what to order. Since I was there for a special occasion, I decided to order a party tray of turon, a Filipino delicacy that I absolutely adore.
The service I received was exceptional. The staff was not only efficient but also very friendly. They were quick to assist me in placing my order and made sure I didn't have to wait long. Their warmth and eagerness to help customers were truly noteworthy.
The party tray of turon I ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. It was the highlight of the gathering I had planned, and my guests couldn't stop raving about the flavors and the quality of the turon.
In summary, my experience at Gabrielle's Food Market was a pleasant one. The diverse range of packaged and prepared foods, along with the fast and friendly service, left a lasting impression. Whether you're seeking a quick lunch, special event catering, or just a unique grocery shopping experience, Gabrielle's Food Market is a fantastic option to explore. I will definitely be returning to try more of their offerings...
Read moreI decided to give try Gabrielle’s Food Market a try as it was closer to where I was staying as compared by my usual place. It is located in a strip mall that always feels empty when compared to other malls in the area. At the peak lunch hour on a weekend the place was completely empty. There were no signs or anything for the menu, but it had a typical steam table setup like other Filipino places so I decided to get a combo with chicken adobo and beef steak. I was asked to pay $13 and change for this order with tax which I did with cash as they don’t take cards.
I got a decent sized container with two small scoops of rice along with a helping of the chicken adobo and beef steak. The food was at-best ok. It had a sort of a clean taste which is odd for Filipino food as it is generally greasy, but it was not bad. Price was really high. Almost 50% more than what you will pay for a two-item combo in other Filipino turo-turo restaurants. I’ve definitely had better so I guess I’m going to drive a little more to get better and cheaper Filipino food...
Read moreI really don’t like how this shop doesn’t have prices listed. It’s very misleading and expensive. I didn’t know my total until i got to the register. This place is too expensive and the food was disgusting. The sisig was such low quality, i will never come here again. Sisig is my favorite filipino food and it was my first time here. I ordered 2 scoops because i had high hopes. I’ve gone to many filipino restaurants near sf and east bay. There’s not many filipino restaurants here in SJ and this place had good reviews and was packed with filipinos so i had high hopes. However, the sisig is not edible and is the lowest quality of meat. They just marinated straight up cartilage and gristle. You’re chewing on your food for so long and can’t swallow a single piece of meat because the sisig from this place is that bad. Extremely disappointed. Never again. I felt sick after...
