Not sure if the ownership changed since they now offer basically 4 different restaurants in one. The original food is still super delicious. The Jamaican food and BBQ are BOMB!!! Haven't tried the Cajun menu yet. It seems like some of the previous servers are still there, but the service declined. Everyone is super friendly, but there's a ton of people, yet taking orders and even getting water is pretty slow, even when it's not super busy. We were alone dining for dinner for awhile and the service was still slow. We've received silverware after our food arrived. Another time, we watched a couple wait for 15 min to order and when they finally did get their food, they had no drinks still. Service has been a consistent problem. The hostess seems to float to different jobs as needed. There needs to be better systems in place. There should be staff that just provides the table with waters or gets started on drinks if the servers are busy. The servers also don't seem to have a consistent service area, except maybe outside. All the technology is there for success, but service efficiency needs to improve for the long haul. I'm providing the detailed feedback because we love the food here, the staff is very friendly, and we want them to succeed. Lastly, if you get cold easily, don't sit at the tables by the window on the longest wall because the A/C is...
Read moreAlrighty honest review time, so we came here after hearing about this halal (Zabihah)breakfast location.
As soon as enter we were greeted and it was not that busy and we were seated promptly outside. The menu was quite extensive and had a variety Of options, we placed our orders and within about 15min or so the food came which was quite surprising. I would recommend that next time have the coffee come first and then the food after.
We got the omelette , scrambled chorizo eggs, and the croissant sandwich with pour over coffee and Mexican mocha and pomogranite juice.
The pour over coffee was really good we got medium brew and the cups were large. The pomogranite juice was quite crisp, it tastes like that POM brand of juice that you find at Safeway or Costco but chilled. The omelette was quite fluffy and very large (the inside was a little bit uncooked or not sure if supposed to be a bit soft and mushy).
My friends croissant sandwich was good he said, his Mexican mocha had an aftertaste that was cinnamon like and a bit strong. The scrambled eggs were good and no complaints.
I would recommend though to lower the music inside (or remove) so that people can have their conversations as well.
Overall a good place to support since it has a halal breakfast options. It’s like the halal version of home country inn restaurant.

Read moreI dined in at the establishment on a weekday last month — casual diner vibes I was there for it especially with it being at around 35% capacity for that day.
However the food I ordered which was a Belgium waffle with ala carte (additional cost) egg* and beef bacon.
🥚 *the way the menu was written made me question if reality if one order of egg was in-fact $3. I digress.
Beef bacon came first followed by the egg about 5 minutes later. I was surprised thy it did not come at the same time. A total of a little over 20 minute wait for 1 stinking Belgium waffle.
Service was extremely poor and attention to my table was lacking severely by the waitress/ hostess that set me down.
Out of this entire dining experience — the food was the worst. The waffle was tasty, flat (not fluffy) and when doused with the tasteless maple syrup — yuck! So, I turned to my expensive ala carte/ side orders of egg and beef bacon. The egg was really the only palatable food item I ordered. Which actually has some taste (scoring maybe a 3/10 in my opinion).
Anywho, I hope the owner re-evaluates the food ingredient choices and menu as I do think majority of Americans (and maybe even foreigners) would appreciate a pork bacon choice — just saying.
Peek the picture of the flat waffle. My guess was it was made...
