Jack in the Box — Restaurant in San Jose

I came in here around 10pm. I typically don't expect much from a fast food place other than FAST food. This was the absolute longest time I ever had to wait at a fast food place just to order a few tacos. They are extremely short staffed. There were only two people working. The cashier was running back and forth dropping fries in oil and packing bags for orders while every once in awhile coming back to take an order. I don't blame the two workers. They were doing the best they could given the circumstances. A couple of the tacos could have been cooked a bit longer but it is what it is. Will I be coming back to this jack in the box? Probably unlikely, but if I do I know what I can expect. The 1 star is moreso for management. They should have more than two people working at a time . At least two cooks...

This location used to be a 5 in all respects. Unfortunately it has gone downhill in the last few months. The prices are in some cases significantly higher than other locations and the food is about the same. A Breakfast Jack is $1.74 with tax at the location in south San Jose, it is $2.39 at this location. The rest of the menu has similar price differences. The only items that are priced the same are the nationally advertised specials. Don't modify one of those or you'll get charged an upcharge for say upgrading to onion rings from French fries. In my case I would have done better to take the fries that came with the combo and added the onion rings. I'd have saved 75 cents. The staff is friendly helpful...

Everytime we come here, the floors pretty clean and the dining area is too! There's the occasional sticky floors from a mop up after a soda spill, which is fine because nobody wants to slip and fall. The cashiers that we interact with are pretty on point with taking our order and getting everything we order correct. They are friendly and always makes sure that they always ask if we wanted to order anything else at the end. It's almost as if it's like a remunder just in case we forgot something forbsomeone or just dessert for ourselves! :) Restrooms are clean too and fullystocked.
