McDonald's — Restaurant in San Jose

Years ago, I had a hamburger at McDonald's, and was so admonished on how thin the burger was, it brought back reminders of Claire Peller's - "Whereeeeeeeees the beef". Remember that commercial? That was great! Too bad she reneged on her contract (and did a commercial for Wendy's. . . or so I heard), I miss her in that commercial. And sometimes thinness in the 21st. century is not just reserved for hamburgers. I remember spending a night at the 'Cozy 8 Motel', recently, and the blanket that was on the bed was so thin, you could freeze to death on a hot August night in Vegas. But that was years ago, and McD's has sure had a turn-around in that department since. I have to say, they really got their act together. Just as a subtle indication of that, look how fast it takes to process a debit card transaction. It's instant! And maybe that's why, they have 34,000 restaurants world-wide in a 118 countries. I usually go to the one at Eastridge, and get the 'Big Breakfast'. That's scrambled eggs, two muffin halves, a slice of sausage patty, and a hash brown, all for just under $5. How can you beat that? It all comes with plastic utensils in a plastic bag for (for sanitary reasons), butter, salt, and jelly. Throw in a senior coffee for a buck, and if it's going to be a take-out, it's an instantly quick package, if you're running a bit late. Sometimes, I throw in a small Caramel Frap., for a mare $2.18, just to appease my rather eclectic...

This McKee D's is located in the food court at Eastridge mall. The environment is nice and the employees are friendly. You can tell they are working hard and quickly to get the orders out to the crowd of people. It had been over 7 years since I've eaten a 🍔 from McDonald's, I did it for my daughter. I have nothing against the franchise but their food does a number on my stomach every time, it gives me the 💩's and that is the reason I had given up on fast food. I would like to let my kids know that if it's not home made or a gourmet burger then I'm not doing it. Ever...

First employee tried to hand me the wrong order, second one corrected him when I looked confused by the contents. I ordered a large shake but was given a medium. When I approached them about this the guy told me it’s a large. I go to McDonalds often enough to know their sizes, and my friend ordered a medium soda that came in the same size cup. Also took my friend’s order wrong. On the flip side the shake was one of the better ones I’ve had in a while, so food was decent but service...
