as a chain, momacado is really good with what it advertises and sells: cute characterized ice cream. it’s located in eastridge mall on the edge of the food court as an ice cream stand. there is a self ordering screen which is nice. the decorating station is cute, too, which provides customers with sprinkles to decorate their ice cream. however, this specific location is rather unenthusiastic. the staff seems to want to avoid any sort of customer service; when handing ice cream off, sometimes employees would immediately shoo customers away. there is no sense of urgency whatsoever either, if that is of concern. additionally, the portions for both ice cream and taiyaki are rather small for the price. i will say i thoroughly enjoyed the sprinkles :)
only come here if you want a cute treat, not something particularly tasty...

The staff custom make each ice cream, so it does take some time, especially if there are a lot of people. I saw some rude customers demanding their orders because they didn't want to wait and expected these staff to whip them out like robots. Please don't be rude to the staff. They are doing their best. The faces/decor on the ice cream are (white) chocolate(?) or at least taste that way. I enjoyed my cute ice cream! I will be back to try something new. They also...
Read moreI did not know this place was in the mall till my sister told me we needed to go here for the ice cream because of the characters. I did not get to try their ice cream flavors, but their characters looked so cute on the ice cream. Plus, you are able to add different toppings to your character ice cream once it's done, like sprinkles or oreos. I got the strawberry lemon tea, and it was delicious that I finished it in about 5 minutes and left me wanting more. I would definitely recommend this place. So far, the times I have been to the mall, I have never seen a line...
