This location is the closest to home for me so it's easy to just stop by whenever the craving for mochi donuts hits and it suffices.
Overall mochi donut is on the bread-ier side. There's a chew to it for sure. They're better with classic flavors, still only on the decent side, but a lil better (chocolate, cookies n cream, etc) than specialty flavors (mango, matcha, etc). Specialty flavors taste very artificial (granted, all flavors are already artificial...so it tastes legit artificial).
Coffee, fruity pebbles, mango (tastes more like mango passion fruit), chocolate, cookies and cream, matcha (can barely taste matcha). Overall mochi donut flavors are either on the light side or artificial side.
Potato original hotdog. Hotdog is actually pretty flavorful. Usually I'm not a fan of corn dog type of hot dogs, since they're usually either mushy or tastes like they've been straight up boiled. This one is juicy and has a good taste to it with a nice amount of saltiness. Crunch is there, and the outer potato shell wasn't hard to where it would cut the roof of your mouth like I thought it would (only light scratching lol, but honestly not bad). The batter is a light mochi/chewy texture. I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would lol. I ate this when I was hungry, but not to the starving point where anything would taste good, so I'm thoroughly surprised!
Bottom line: 3 stars. It'll do the job if you're craving for mochi donuts, apparent artificial flavoring.

Read moreI've been meaning to stop by here and grab a mochi donut.
I have to admit, I'm not a huge fan of mochi donuts that sit on shelves behind a large glass window for hours. They usually turn out hard, cold, underwhelming, and the flavor dries out. Nevertheless, I still wanted to try one, so after a quick lunch around the corner, my friends and I decided to check it out.
The space is large and beautifully designed, very much in line with the brand's theme. There are plenty of tables for groups. The menu offers a variety of options, including donuts, hot dogs, and boba. We found the display case with about 7-8 different mochi donut flavors. We asked the cashier about purchasing options, and she informed us that they sell them by the box. We chose a 3-pack for $10, selecting Matcha, Nutella, and Cookies & Creme flavors. After paying, we were on our way.
I got the Cookies & Creme mochi donut, which was tasty. It had a good flavor and the characteristic mochi donut texture. It wasn't hard and had retained its flavor, which was a plus. I also tried a bite of the Matcha donut, which had a lighter Matcha flavor but was still good. Both donuts maintained their flavor and texture, which was impressive.
The space is cool, the service from the cashier was transactional, and there are plenty of options to...
Read moreI’ve been to a few Mochinuts to grab mochi donuts for parties and I must say that this location gave me fresher donuts. I ordered a box of 6. I chose matcha, ube, cookies and cream, strawberry, and nutella. The strawberry impressed me! It seemed that the donuts were recently dipped into the flavors. These weren’t donuts that were just sitting out all day getting stale like donuts I’ve bought in the past.
What I usually do is pick several different flavors, cut the balls up, then everyone can try each flavor.
Note: The donuts weren’t on display and the temperature inside the shop was warm, however the quality of the donuts more than...
